I am Abdurashid, born March 22 in 1977 in Tashkent in an Uyghur family. My father was electrician, and my mother worked in kindergarten in Soviet Union.
I am first son of 4 children. After a study of German as a foreign language at University of World Languages in Tashkent, exchange semester in Berlin at Humboldt University I reached German as foreign language at the same University in Tashkent, worked as a Programm assistant for cultural Programms at the Goethe Institute, freelance translator and interpreter, Manager at the Theater and Cinema, Undergraduate Fellowship, Master Study of East European History and Central Asia at Justus Liebig University in Gießen, worked several years for Uzbek football association, Siemens, Konrad Adenauer Stiftung, GTZ/GIZ, municipality of Tashkent City, and finally 6 years as political and economical assistant for Embassy of Switzerland in Tashkent.
During my study time I worked as tour operator and travel guide for Uzbek travel agency, since all my clients used that benefit for all visitors and their own.
Since 2017 I work professionally as a city guide and travel accompanier for a new mover of travel companies in Uzbekistan.
My skills, interests, and hobbies: German, Engllish, Russian and Uzbek speaking translator, interpreter, city guide in Tashkent and all around Uzbekistan. I also accompany and advice business traveller, journalists, researcher, film and cinema teams etc. and provide all kind of possible services as hotel, resort, camp, private home stays, camping, transportation, ticket booking, arranging of meetings, sightseeing, location search, assistance for licenses, providing of conference services etc. I enjoy reading history, pulp fiction and science fiction. I also like classical music and travelling.
