Living Somewhere, Loving Some Things. Passionate, Professional, Gentle & Ambitious, And Happy To Share With You My China…

When I was three years old, I became a "Traveller" and became addicted to travel. I love traveling to new places and returning to the old. Have travelled widely too. I’ve gotten stranded in Shanghai for over 10 years and still counting and enjoying it…
Passionate about life in general, professional, gentle & ambitious, dominated by heart most of the time.  Have studied Cultural Anthropology & Tourism. I’m still regularly travelling in remote valleys, deep in the Himalayas or along the Silk Road. Loves to share my passion, knowledge and experience with you; we operate tailor-made adventures & tour China for individuals, families and small groups; a journey built just for you! We will gladly tailor an existing itinerary - or build one completely from scratch - to suit your style, interests, and time frame. Contact me to see what’s possible.

But China is enormous, and traveling in China is all about making the right choices and being selective. Most travelers tend to do trips that cover too vast distances from point to point, without having time to digest, and explore in depth. So if you only have 2 or 3 weeks, we recommend you choose few places and see them well. You can always come back. It is the right time for a China visit, to grab the old China, and catch the new currents.

Julie

I had a very nice tour through the backroads and offgrid neighbourhoods of Shanghai. I had been in Shanghai a couple of times before and enjoyed this tour as it took me to places I would not have found on my own. JuanMao asked me for my preferences and tailored the tour accordingly. Very "indy" indeed ;) It has been raining heavily (rainy season in Shanghai), but it was absolutely worth the wet feet :) Thank you again, JuanMao!
