Hello!

My name is Kirill. I'm 28 years old. I'm married.

I was born and grow up in Almaty in the family of travelers. Six years I lived in Europe and traveled a lot. Traveling, I realized how important a quality service for good travel. And I decided return to Almaty and become a guide and provide high-level service in the Almaty region, because I fell in love with Almaty region since childhood.

I'm speaking English and Polish languages. I have 5-year experience with off-road tours around Almaty region and Kazakhstan. My driving is very safe and comfortable. I am very open minded, cheerful, positive and attentive professional guide.

I would be glad to help you organize the journey of your dream. I will show you the most beautiful places in the Almaty region, we are cook a barbecue in a camp, tell you about the traditions and customs of the Kazakh people.

I'm sure you will be satisfied!

There are a lot of beautiful and unique places for tourism and recreation in Kazakhstan (Almaty region). And, of course, you would like the most comfortable way to visit them.

Because of bad road conditions in wild regions of Kazakhstan, there is no way for big comfortable buses in some unique interesting nature places. That’s why SUV travelling give you more possibilities to involved into the amazing wild world of Kazakhstan’s nature.

I offer to you trips by the comfortable car Toyota Land Cruiser Prado 2009 with AC, DVD and fridge. My car is ideal as for long-distance travel, as for business class transfer from airport and around the city. Max 6 persons

I'm successfully completed and passed the 12 steps of EastguidesWest's Circle of Service Excellence training.

All Ok, Anton (not Kirill) was a great driver and a precious guide. It was a pleasure for us to stay with him. A good trip with fantastic landscapes.

Kirill was a good and safe driver with a great vehicle for offroad and icy conditions!

He was willing to change the itinerary on the trip to include more activities like a waterfall visit on route to Big Almaty lake.

Overall, well done.

We did not get Kirill because he was busy on that day. He arranged another driver/guide Michael to us. We really enjoyed our trip to the area and recommended anyone who wants to get away from the city and enjoys seeing river and nature outside of Almaty. Although it was only 1.5 hr away; the beautiful, majestic Tian Shan Mountains is not too far away.

As for our guide, besides being friendly, speaks good English and drives really well; we found a few things that were not acceptable while he was driving.

1. Talking while driving is unsafe. We almost get into an accident in the beginning of the trip. we were expected to have a driver and a separate guide as shown on the web. I would not have booked it if I knew in advance.

2. Holding cellphone while driving. I recommend mounted the phone on the dashboard all the time. We could get a fine in Canada by doing that.

3. Looking on the cellphone while driving. Michael didn’t seem to know how to get to the City of Nomads. He said he was looking for a shorter road to get there but the route he was chosen was dangerous and isolated. It really put us in great danger. Who can save us if accidents happen!!! Thanks God for his well built , comfortable and diesel AC SUV!!! He didn’t even has to hurry cause we had pretty of time left at the end. We saw big camping trailer and small cars on the parking lots so there must have an easy road to get to the river.

Finally we expect more talking about the area’s history and any cultural significant background from a tour guide than a driver. We did not feel the passion and deep knowledge from our guide. It was a bit of disappointment as we had paid top dollars for the trip and got only half of what we expected. Our trip started at 8 am and returned at hotel at 3:20 pm. No lunch break in between!!!

In general, we find the trip offered in Kazakhstan are over priced, unregulated and no standard. It really depends on the honest reviews from the participants. We hope this review can help others to choose their trip wisely.

Phenomenal trip! Charyn Canyon is an absolute must-see when coming to visit Almaty. The van that we rode out on was extremely comfortable and well suited for the rugged terrain on the drive out to Charyn Canyon!

Kirill was amazing! The trip to Big Almaty Lake and Almaty Peak was breathtaking! Kirill offered an excellent tour up the mountain - even lent me his walking poles as it was still quite snowy and icy. His commentary on the history of the region was very good, taking time to answer my questions. I look forward to returning to Kazakhstan and another tour with Kirill.
