For centuries, the winding province of Gansu marked the eastern edge of the exotic Silk Road. On this adventurous twist on a classic Silk Road tour, you'll encounter sand dunes that sing in the wind, and deserts that hide ancient Buddhist art in clandestine caves.
Day 1: Arrive in Dunhuang, pick up and transfer to the hotel. O/n Dunhuang (3*). *No guide
Day 2: Dunhuang Mogao cave, Echoing-sand Mountain & Crescent Moon Lake. O/n Dunhuang
Day 3: Drive to Jiayuguan, visit Jiayuguan pass. 380KM, about 4 hours drive. O/n Jiayuguan (3*).
Day 4: (*No guide) Transfer to Jiayuguan train station for bullet train to Lanzhou (D2672, 08:28 – 13:19). Lanzhou train station pick up and drive about 3.5 hours to Xiahe. O/n Xiahe (3*).
Day 5: Labrang Monastery / Sanke Grasslands. O/n Xiahe.
Day 6: Drive back to Lanzhou airport or train station. *No guide

For a confirmed booking, a deposit of (10%) is required. Deposit is paid by credit card (secure payment via Stripe, no credit card fees). The remaining balance can be paid in cash upon start of the trip - unless Host & Traveler agree on different payment methods.
Cancellations can be made free of charge up to 30 days prior to the beginning of the booked service. The deposit (10%) is only refundable if the booking is canceled at least 30 days in advance.
