Kyrgyzstan: The mysterious Tien Shan, hiking & horse riding
I would like to introduce you to a fascinating region perched in the middle of Tien Shan. Kyrgyzstan, a country of nomads in the due heart of Central Asia, offers largely unexplored mountains with a splendid playground for all nature- and virgin-land-lovers. The Kyrgyz people who have preserved its tradition of hospitality live peacefully in a surprising variety of landscapes and have made this country the pearl of Central Asia with steppes, prairies, deserts, and also canyons, high alpine valleys, and lakes with turquoise waters. In summer, as well as in winter times, I invite you to unpublished programs.
Day 1 Bishkek-Chong Kemin: Meeting at the airport Manas and drive to Bishkek, accommodation at the guesthouse. Departure from Bishkek in the morning, (option visit of Burana Tower, the ancient city of Balasagyn), walk and picnic in the Konorchek red's rocks canyon (2-3 hours walk), then in the afternoon, drive to Chong Kemin, visit of the Shabdan Batyr park. Installation in Lira's homestay. Traditional dinner with the local family.

Day 2 Chong Kemin-Karakol: Transfer to Karakol. Visit of the city, the museum and memorial Prjevalski, then back to the center and visit of the Dungan mosque, Orthodox wooden cathedral. After lunch drive to Ak-Suu valley, short walk in the botanical park, then have a rest in hot spring water. In the evening, typical Dungan dinner. Overnight at the guesthouse. Driving time: 5 h 30 Driving kilometers: 340km
Day 3 Karakol-Kok Jayik: Morning drive to the gorge Irdyk. From the gorge Irdyk walk to "Kyzyl Unkur" (Red cave). 2700m. Possible to continue the walk to the Jeti Oguz. Short transfer to the Kok Jayik pastureland. Overnight in the yurt. 7-8 h. hiking. Driving time: 1h20 Driving kilometers: 43km
Day 4 Kok Jayik – Ak-Tash (Chong Kyzyl Suu): Horse riding to the Chong Kyzyl Suu valley by the Siuttu Bulak pastureland, overnight in the yurt. 7-8 hrs. of horse riding. Driving time: 1h30 Driving kilometers: 47km
Day 5 Ak-Tash (Chong Kyzyl Suu): Day hiking to the Geophysical meteo station of the Chong Kyzyl Suu valley, lunch at the refuge, then back to our yurt camp, on the way, you can enjoy hot springs bath. Overnight in the yurt. (18km; +540m.; -540m.)
Day 6 Ak-Tash (Chong Kyzyl Suu)- Kochkor 240 km: Drive to Kochkor, on the way, visit Skazka Canyon (fairy tale), visit of a falconer and his Golden eagle, visit of yurt makers in the Kyzyl Tuu village, arriving in Kochkor, visit of felt maker, overnight in Kochkor region in a family guesthouse. Driving time: 3 h 25 Driving kilometers: 240km
Day 7 Kochkor-Kilemche: In the morning, short transfer to Kyzart pass (25km), where you will start a horse trek to Kilemche valley, overnight in the yurt. Horse riding 3-4h
Day 8 Kilemche-Balabeit: After breakfast, we continue our horseback riding until Balabeit. Overnight and dinner in the yurt. Horse riding 3-4h
Day 9 Balabeit-Kyzart: Horseback riding from Balabeit to Kyzart. Picnic on the way. Overnight in a family guesthouse. Horse riding 4-5h
Day 10 Kyzart-Kyzyl Korgon: Today we go up the canyon to the village of Kyzyl Korgon. Time for a walk. Overnight in the yurt. Walk time 3-4h
Day 11 Kyzyl Korgon-Kyzyl Oi: Road from Kyzyl Korgon to Kyzyl Oi. Lunch in Kyzyl Oi. Time for a walk. Accommodation in a family guesthouse. Driving time 2-3 h Walking time 1.5-2 h
Day 12 Kyzyl Oi - Bishkek: After breakfast, we drive to Bishkek. Dinner in the restaurant. Overnight in the guesthouse. Driving time 5 h Driving km 25 km.
Day 13 Transfer to the airport.
Flight back home with the head full of memories... at least we hope so!

Price does not include:

- Additional costs due to personal problems (health, loss of luggage, etc.).
For a confirmed booking, a deposit of (10%) is required. Deposit is paid by credit card (secure payment via Stripe, no credit card fees). The remaining balance can be paid in cash upon start of the trip - unless Host & Traveler agree on different payment methods.
Cancellations can be made free of charge up to 30 days prior to the beginning of the booked service. The deposit (10%) is only refundable if the booking is canceled at least 30 days in advance.
