Spring Eagle Festival is 20,21st March
Day 1. Fly to Ulgii (Olgii), Western Mongolia
Fly from Ulaanbaatar to Ulgii. We will welcome you at the airport and transfer you to one of the best hotels of Ulgii. After good rest, we’ll have lunch at a restaurant and we will go town exploration that includes local museum, bazaar and Friendship memorial, a hill on the edge of the town providing panoramic view of Ulgii. Overnight in hotel. ( L + D )
Day 2. Meet a true falconer
Early morning after breakfast, drive to meet a true eagle hunter who lives 2 hour drive from Ulgii. Opportunity to see and photograph his majestic bird. Enjoy local herder people’s hospitality. Time to observe their nomadic lifestyle.
Day 3, 4. Go hunting with golden eagle
Mount on horses and go to nearby mountains to see how the Kazakh eagle hunters hunt with their golden eagles. Hunting real animals will require days sometimes. Along with the hunter witness this amazing activity. On the day 3, late afternoon drive back to Ulgii. Overnight in wooden house (B+L+D)
Day 5, 6. Golden eagle festival
Drive out of Ulgii to Tolbo lake where the festival will be held. It takes about ah hour. Arrive a small hill by the beautiful Tolbo lake. Enjoy the two day long festival meeting and photographing colorfully dressed eagle hunters, local herders and villagers. Drive back to Ulgii in the evening. Hotel (B+L+D)
Day 7 Attend Nauryz festival in Ulgii (22 March)
Nauryz is one of the bigest holidays celebrated by Mongolian Kazakhs to mark the new year at the spring equinox. Early morning locals in their traditional clothes hurry to the city square to watch the parade and concert of this intersting festival and to taste the festival dish 'Nauryz Koje' in the yurts. Visit a few families to observe and experience the festival. Overnight hotel (B+L+D)
Day 8 Fly back to Ulaanbaatar
We’ll transfer you to the airport. Fly out of Ulgii to UB.

Cancellations can be made free of charge up to 30 days prior to the beginning of the booked service. The deposit (10%) is only refundable if the booking is canceled at least 30 days in advance.
