The Flaming Cliffs site, also known as Bayanzag is a region of the Gobi Desert in the Ömnögovi Province of Mongolia, in which important fossil finds have been made.
It was given this name by American paleontologist Roy Chapman Andrews
Who visited in the 1920s. The area is most famous for yielding the first discovery of dinosaur eggs.
Other finds in the area include specimens of Velociraptor and eutherian mammals. It is illegal to remove fossils from the area without appropriate permits.

Day 1 - Fly from Ulaanbaatar to Dalanzadgad
Arrive in Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia. Tour starts with drive to Dalanzadgad. Overnight in the hotel.
Day 2 - Bayanzag-Flamming Cliffs (land of dinosaurs)
The Flaming Cliffs site, also known as Bayanzag is a region of the Gobi Desert in the Ömnögovi Province of Mongolia, in which important fossil finds have been made. It was given this name by American paleontologist Roy Chapman Andrews, who visited in the 1920s. The area is most famous for yielding the first discovery of dinosaur eggs. Day 3 - Khongor sanddunes
Khongor dunes, ”Khongoriin Els”, are the most important sand mass of Gobi Gurvan Saïkhan National Park. Its area is more than 900 square kilometres (347,49 square miles).
Day 4 - Lifestyle of Gobi - Gurvan Tes Soum
Overnight in tent at near of Guvan Tes Soum, is that the golden sand dunes with small lake it’s inside are surrounded by bright green meadows, colorful flowers are growing in the meadow, tall bushes are playing with their leaves in the Gobi wind. Overnight in tourist camp
Day 5 - Khermen Tsav - Mini Grand Canyon
In the Gobi, natural miracles are countless and one of them is named Khermen Tsav, a wonderful canyon made of red mud rocks. The spectacular rocky formations of Khermen Tsav are located North the sum of Gurvantes, in the extreme Northwest of the province of Omnogovi, between Mount Sharig at North and Mount Altan at South.
Day 6 - Zulganaa + Nemeht

Day 8 - Kharkhorum Erdenezuu Monastery
“Now you will know about our culture and history. Erdene-Zuu is the oldest buddist Monastery in Mongolia. The history of Erdene Zuu is a mix of invasions, religious purges, political shifts, and outright murder. Damaged and dismantled in 1688 during a conflict between Dzungars (a confederation of Mongolian tribes) and Khalkha Mongols (historically ruled by the Khans), what remained of the monastery was reassembled in the 18th century. Again, in 1939, the order suffered a blow at the hands of Khorloogiin balsan, the Communist leader of Mongolia, who ordered the destruction of scores of temples and the slaughter of thousands of monks throughout the country. All that remained of Erdene Zuu were three temples and a small order, with nearly one hundred structures destroyed and an estimated one thousand members either murdered or imprisoned. ”
Day 9 - Ugii Lake
It is a big day. You came here to see Ugii lake. And you do not mean the small ones, you mean the big ones. Well, we promise-ugii lake is beautiful place to finshing and bird watching.
Day 10 - Back to Ulaanbaatar
Today your trip ends in Ulaanbaatar after unforgettable days in the Mongolia.
For a confirmed booking, a deposit of (10%) is required. Deposit is paid by credit card (secure payment via Stripe, no credit card fees). The remaining balance can be paid in cash upon start of the trip - unless Host & Traveler agree on different payment methods.
Cancellations can be made free of charge up to 30 days prior to the beginning of the booked service. The deposit (10%) is only refundable if the booking is canceled at least 30 days in advance.
