Visit Tashkent

Have a tour around the northern capital, eat toy-osh (holiday plov), visit beautiful and modern city.

The tour starts from the hotel or accomodation in Tashkent city.

It starts with the Hasrati Imam square, which is a vast territory with a beautiful and peaceful garden, being here you will see that this spot is so quite that you don't think about being in the modern, noisy city.(Places to visit: Madrassah Barak-khan, Abu Bakr Kaffal Ash Shashi's Mausoleum, Friday Mosque, Institute named after Imam Al-Bukhoriy)

This picture shows us the view from the old, wooden doors of Barak-khan madrassah to the view of the bacyard of the Friday mosque and Library of Koran (VII century).

There is an opportunity of going to the underground as a new modern site, it is the first metro on the territory of Central Asia.

Chorsu market which roof is in a way of a blue dome. The translation of the name is "four sides" or four rivers that means that all the roads lead to market.

Fruit at the market

The abudance of fresh fruit, vegetables, the scent of spices will amaze you with its depth.

The fee to the underground can be paid by a special card or with the little plastic coin, some of visitors keep it as a charm.

The best Central Asian center of plov is situated here, you have an opportunity to taste it.

Next to the center there is a TV tower, which is 375 metres.

The end of the day we can spend in the modern part of the city which was built in 19th,20th,21th centuries.

The photographs were made by Khun Kurasak, photographer and traveller.
