Day 1: Welcome to Mongolia.
Transfer to the hotel. After relaxing in the hotel from the long flight, we begin our city tour with a visit to the national historical museum. Next we stroll through the main square "Sukhbaatar". Then we drive to the viewpoint "Zaisan Tolgoi" around the to see the whole city. Finally, we get to know Mongolian traditional art and welcome dinners.

Day 2: Monastery tour "Aglag Buteeliin Khiid".
Our trip starts in the north to the monastery "Aglag Buteeliin Khiid". The young monastery is located in the middle of a graceful forest landscape and the asphalt road accompanies us 100 km and continue on the country road 7 km to the monastery. At the parking we wear our hiking boots around to do light hike in the area of ​​the monastery and to look at the monastery.

Day 3: The wild horses in Hustai National Park.
In the morning we travel to the "Hustai" National Park. Here is the habitat for the Przewski horses, called Takhi in Mongolian. After lunch in Ger-camp we drive a bit into the national park. At the parking lot we start our 3 hour hike to see the wild animals like takhi, deer and groundhog. These critically endangered horses were again expelled in 1992. About 15 horses were brought over. Today there are over 400 horses in the national park.

Day 4: The ruin "Khar Bukhiin Balgas".
We start our journey to the ruin "Khar Bukh Balgas". It speaks of two different period. First is Khidan time. Khidan is the state that existed between the 10-11th century on today's Mongolian plain. Later in the 17 th century, a school was built on the old city ruins. After having lunch at the hotel, we visit the ruin and small museum.

Day 5: The rock formation "Khogno Khaan".
After breakfast, we make our way to the magnificent rock formation of "Khugnu Khan" nature reserve. Here we discover the semi-desert steppe. Breathtakingly beautiful granite rock mountains and 80km long sand dune are characteristic for this dry area with the nickname "mini gobi". In the afternoon we walk to the monastery "Erdene Khamba", where in the 17th century on the southern slope of mountain "Khugnu Khan" was built.

Day 6: Inquire about the nomadic life.
Today we drive our car to the capital. On the way we visit Ger-camp "Mongol Nomadic" to get to know the way of life of the nomads. After having lunch here we continue our journey to Ulaanbaatar. The day ends with dinner.

Day 7: The flight home.
After breakfast transfer to the airport. The time to say "goodbye" and "good home trip".

For a confirmed booking, a deposit of (10%) is required. Deposit is paid by credit card (secure payment via Stripe, no credit card fees). The remaining balance can be paid in cash upon start of the trip - unless Host & Traveler agree on different payment methods.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations can be made free of charge up to 30 days prior to the beginning of the booked service. The deposit (10%) is only refundable if the booking is canceled at least 30 days in advance.
