Day 1
Bishkek city

Overnight in guesthouse

30 km drive by car
Bishkek: Arrive in Manas International airport.

Meet with our tour guide and driver and transfer to Bishkek city (which is 30 km from the airport) directly to the guest house in the center of the city. Hot shower, rest and breakfast at the guest house. Lunch in a local restaurant. City tour: First go sightseeing around the capital city and see the central square, the museums, and Osh market which is the second largest market in Bishkek. The market is famous for its abundance of variety of goods. Dinner in a local restaurant.

Overnight in the guest house.

Day 2
Bishkek -      Chon Kemin village

local homestay

150 km drive by car
Breakfast in the morning, and then depart to Chon-Kemin village. On the way, stop at the historical complex Burana tower dated 11th century. Learn about the legend about the tower. Arrive in the village in the afternoon. Trek in the mountain gorge for 2-3 hours. Dinner and overnight in a local homestay.

Day 3
Chon Kemin -Karakol –

310 km drive duration by car
Morning breakfast then drive to Issyk-Kul lake, the pearl of the Tien-Shan mountains and the second largest mountain lake in the world. Lunch en route afternoon in Balyrkchi town. Stop at the Petroglyphs, the Bronze age carvings and paintings on the large stones. Have the opportunity to swim in the lake in Cholpon-Ata. Arrive in Karakol (the Northern shore of Issyk-Kul lake) by the evening. Dinner in a local restaurant. Overnight in the guest house.

Day 4
Karakol - Bokonbaev

150 km drive by car
After a good meal for breakfast, visit the center of Karakol city, the Russian Holy Trinity Orthodox church and the Dungan mosque. After the city tour, drive to the memorial Museum of the explorer-naturalist Przhevalsk. Head back to Karakol and stop at grocery store to buy some food for lunch. Follow the road to Jeti-Oguz valley, the valley of Seven Bulls, the red rocks of gorgeous formations. Picnic among the amazing landscapes. Arrive at Bokonbaev village. Traditional eagle hunting performance by an experienced Berkutchi (an eagle man). Home stay in a local family house. 

Day 5
Bokonbaev – Son-Kul

250 km drive by car
Depart early in the morning. Visit yurt making place. A local carpenter will show the process of making and erecting the yurt. Stop by Chochkor region where you may purchase handicraft goods and handmade souvenirs. Lunch in Kochkor. After lunch, continue our journey through Kalmak-Ashuu pass at an altitude of 3447m above sea level. On top of the pass you may see the panoramic view of the mountainous lake. During the summer the local shepherds come with their families and livestock up to Son-Kul lake. Meet the local shepherds and experience the nomadic lifestyle and enjoy the beauty of high mountains. You can also taste the mare’s milk “Kymyz” the elixir of life.  Walk down to the lake and have free time. Dinner and overnight in the yurt. Night under the crystal sky with the view of many stars.

Day 6
Son-Kul- Kyzyl-Oi

130 km transfer by car
Breakfast then begin journey to Kyzyl-Oi village. On the way, pass the Kara-Keche pass (3384m. above the sea level), which offers views of incredible landscapes. Kara-Keche is a coal mine place. Lunch en route near the river of Chaek village. Drive along the Kokomeren river to Kyzyl-Oi. Dinner and overnight in Kyzyl-Oi.

Day 7
Kyzyl-Oi
Breakfast. Performance by the local horse team of five different horse games after the game horseback riding. Lunch in the village. After lunch, folklore show. A local folklore ensemble will perform traditional music and melodies. Dinner and overnight in Kyzyl-Oi.

Day 8
Kyzyl-Oi – Bishkek

190km transfer by car
After breakfast, begin trip to Bishkek via the great tunnel Too-Ashuu (3180m above the sea level). On the way, stop at the panoramic view after passing the tunnel where you can take beautiful pictures. Arrive in Bishkek after the long trip. Have a rest in your guest house. Dinner in a restaurant and overnight in the city.

Day 9
Ala-Archa national park ,

40 km from the ciy.

Ata-Beiyt Memorial complex
After breakfast, drive to Ala-Archa national park preserve where you can experience the gorgeous gorge, feed the squirrels, breathe fresh air, and see juniper trees.  The Ala Archa National Park is an alpine national park in the Tian-Shan mountains. The park covers about 200 square km, and its altitude ranges from about 1,500 meters at the entrance. Hike in the gorge up to the waterfall. Picnic during the hiking time. After hiking, visit the memorial complex, the name of which means “Grave of Our Fathers” in Kyrgyz, and commemorates a mass grave of murders in 1938 during Stalin-era purges. Dinner in a local restaurant and overnight at the guest house.

Day 10 
Early morning transfer to the airport for flight back home. End of the journey!
