DAY 1 Welcome to Almaty
Arrival to the international airport of Almaty.
Surrounded by snow-capped mountain peaks of the Trans-Ili Alatau Almaty is the pearl of Kazakhstan. Here at Almaty you can admire majestic Tyan-Shan mountains and go skating to the most unusual skating rink “Medeo” witch is the highest skating rink in the world. During a dizzying climb to the glacier of Chimbulak, where lies the modern skiing resort you can feel the free spirit of Kazakhstan, the scope of its territories and the beauty of these lands. Snowy peaks, centuries-old forests, mountain lakes… All this, combined with modern ski lifts, thermal pools, and comfortable cottages.
DAY 2 City tour around Almaty
Our guide will start a city tour in the central part of Almaty, with a short stop near the Golden Warrior Monument that represents the independence of Kazakhstan and its citizens. After passing by the Central Library and the Abai State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater, and having a look at the new pedestrian Panfilov’s street, you will learn more about the history and development of the southern capital of Kazakhstan from ancient times to the present day. After lunch, You will visit the Kok-Tobe mountain with the highest TV tower in the world (above sea level).
DAY 3 The greatness and power of nature
Charyn canyon, carved by the Charyn River, flowing from the slopes of the Tien Shan, one of the most magnificent canyons in the world: its length is 150 km, and the height of the walls reaches 200 meters. By the way, the Statue of Liberty reaches only 93 meters.
Charyn Canyon is a visual aid for geography: here, as in a time machine, you can see all the processes of formation of rocks and reliefs. The age of the canyon is truly unique: 12 million years. The awareness of this thought captures the spirit no less than from contemplation of monumental stone blocks propping up the bright blue sky.
DAY 4 - The breath of time
Initially, the Issyk Lake belonged to the landslide-karst type of lakes, the remains of which are still can be found in the Trans-Ili Alatau, at an altitude of 1780 meters, 60 kilometers from the city of Almaty. The lake with a length of 1850 meters and a depth of 50-80 meters was never rich in fish. However, it was always famous for its unusual green-blue shade of water. This lake was considered the pearl of Zailiysky Alatau.
DAY 5 The rhythm of the capital
Today Astana is a dynamically developing metropolis. The political life of Kazakhstan is concentrated here, and many young people from all over the country go here chasing their dream. That's why life here is bright and full of action, and sometimes it's even hard to understand if you're in Astana or in New York, Singapore or Amsterdam.
You will visit the Nur-Astana Mosque, Beit-Rakhel-Chabad, the Lubavitch Synagogue, the Pyramid of Peace and Reconciliation, the Ethnic Park, the First President's Museum, the Cultural Center, and the Astana-Baiterek monument. All this is waiting for you.
DAY 6 Where the Ages Meet
You will continue your tour by having a boat trip along the Ishim River. A light will refresh you during the hot day and give you strength for further travel. The Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan is the next stop.
In the museum, there is an exact copy of the Golden Man. The remains of the Saka warrior in gold clothes reached 6 meters in height and more than half a meter in diameter. You will also visit the exhibition complex Nur Alem. The architectural symbol of the exhibition is the largest spherical building in the world with a diameter of 80 meters and a height of 100 meters. Directly in the Sphere there is the Museum of the Future.
DAY 7 The way home
Breakfast in the hotel restaurant, check out from the hotel. Transfer to the airport. Registration, baggage drop and exit to the flight departing. Departure.
