Day 1: Fly to Ulgii. Upon arrival meet your guide and drive to Tavan Bogd. Reach to the Tsagaan gol valley.
Day 2: Ride a horse to the Base of Altai Tavan Bogd National park. We will see massif glaciers and beautiful peaks of Altai mountain. Altai Tavan Bogd is in English it means The Holy Five.
Day 3: Hike to the Malchin mountain it is one of the main Holy Five. We will explore the area and make some steps on the glacier.
Day 4: Ride a horse back to the Tsagaan gol valley. On the way we will visit a local nomadic Tuvan family. We will be known hospitality of nomads of Tuvan people. Camping.
Day 5: Today you will trek to the Shiveet Khairkhan Mountain. Since local people worship this mountain it's not allowed to hunt here and the area is rich in wildlife. If we are lucky you will be able to see some of the animals living here, including Ibex and Golden Eagles.
Day 6: Drive to Khoton and Khurgan lakes. On the way stop at several archeological sites located along the banks of Mogoit River. Overnight at a nomad Kazakh family.
Day 7: Hike to Baga Turgen’s waterfall. We are still in the Altai Tavan Bogd National park when we are here. With the forest on the sides of a high snowcapped mountains this area rich in lakes and fresh water.
Day 8: Drive to the lake Dayan. We will visit an Eagle hunters family in Urmugeit where summer village of nomads. Learn some hunting skills with a Golden Eagle. Overnight with the eagle hunter's family
Day 9: Explore the area
Day 10: Drive to Ulgii.
Day 11: Drive to Tsenkheriin Agui cave Khovd province,
Day 12: Drive to Altai city Gobi Altai province,
Day 13: Drive to Bogd village Bayankhongor province,
Day 14: Drive to Bayanlag, travel across the vast steppe towards the incredible landscapes of the Gobi. Drive to the the dramatic paleontological sites.
Day 15: Drive to Khongorin els Sand dunes at Gobi desert. This 180km lon, 3-15 km wide and 15-20m high sand dune is situated in Umnugobi province. Hundreds of sand dunes will be appeared from the sand dune top. The scenery is brillint with a rocky mountain on the south, sand dunes in the center and oasis on the north. There are many cave paintings dating back to the Bronze age on the rocks of Mount.
Day 16: Drive to Bayanzag at Gobi desert. This is a place of home to wild camels, extremely rare Gobi bear, argali sheep, ibexes and snow leopards. Its climate is the hottest , too that is above +30/+40 C in summer. It is the place where large numbers of dinosaurs’ findings are found.
Day 17: Drive to Ongiin Khiid. Ongi Monastery is the collective name for the ruins of two monasteries that face each other across the Ongi River in Saikhan-Ovoo district of Dundgovi Province, in south-central Mongolia.
Day 18: Drive to Khustain national park. Khustain National Park, one of the well known and prestigious special protected areas in Mongolia. We will be able to see unique wild horse – Takhi. As the successful implementation of the project today we have over 220 takhi in the park.
Day 19: Drive to Ulaanbaatar
For a confirmed booking, a deposit of (10%) is required. Deposit is paid by credit card (secure payment via Stripe, no credit card fees). The remaining balance can be paid in cash upon start of the trip - unless Host & Traveler agree on different payment methods.
Cancellations can be made free of charge up to 30 days prior to the beginning of the booked service. The deposit (10%) is only refundable if the booking is canceled at least 30 days in advance.
