Your English speaking driver will pick you up at Manas International Airport or at hotel and accompany you to the capital city of Kyrgyzstan, just a 30-minute drive from the airport. The first half of the day is dedicated to a guided Bishkek City Tour. The tour includes visiting Pobeda Square (Victory Square), Duboviy Park (Oak Park), Сentral Ala-Too Square, the History Museum, National Philharmonic and many others places of interest.We will be able to enjoy a city tour of Bishkek and a dinner at a local café. You will sleep at hostel in the center of Bishkek.
Day 2: Bishkek – Toktogul city, (272,4km 6.7 hrs )
Drive from Bishkek to Toktogul. we will drive from hostel in Bishkek at 6.7 o clock in the morning. Drive Valley Suusamyr Chichkan gorge It-Agar, lake, you will be able to take a lot of dynamic photos of bustling local life. This is a great chance to see the whole lake from all sights Toktogul water reservoir. This lake is surrounded by mountains and it is the highest alpine lake in Kyrgyzstan. Its area is 284sq, km and an average depth of about 215m. toktogul reservoir is truly priceless for hydropower industry of the country. Accommodation Your dinner and night will be in a hotel or guest house.
Day 3. Toktogul – Osh city, (392km 5.6 hrs)
Drive from Toktogul to Osh in the morning about 7 or 8 o clock. We will be able to enjoy a city tour of Osh and have lunch at a local café or in Hotel. The Osh oriental Bazaar has remained at its original location on the bank of Ak-Buura River in the center of the town over the centuries. A lot of different goods come to Osh Bazaar from all over Central Asia. One particularly interesting sight in Osh is Suleiman Too (holy mount). Local people often climb the mountain in the belief that it brings absolution and good health. One can see both old and young people alike ascending and descending its face daily. Accommodation Dinner and overnight in the Hotel.
Day 4. Osh – Sarymogol village, (220km 3.4 hrs)
In the morning we will drive from Osh to Sarymogol village, about 6.7. This village is the gateway to the glaciers of in Peak. Have lunch in the guesthouse. After lunch drive to the direction of in Peak base snow caped mountains of Pamirs. Conquer the greatest peaks of Pamir Alay valley Arrival Dinner and overnight in the guesthouse.
Day 5. Sarymogol village – Kyzyl- Art border chech point Karakol Lake – Murghab (260km.4-5hrs).
Breakfast at the guesthous in Sarymogol village. We will start to travelling along Pamir Highway, You will have many opportunities for photo stops to remember this day.Transfer to Kyrgyz-Tajik border ‘Kyzyl-Art’ via the Kyzyl-Art pass (4,280 m). Cross the border at ‘Kyzyl-Art’ border check point and continue to the high-altitude Karakul Lake - the largest lake in Tajikistan and one of the highest in Central Asia, surrounded by mountain peaks. Drive over the Akbaital Pass (4,655 m), which is the highest road pass in the CIS and highest point of the M41 highway. Afterwards, have a snack in the Karakol s guesthouse. Arrival in Murghab. Murgab is a quiet town with an only bazaar of the High Pamir region where Kyrgyz’s and Tajiks live. . We will have a short city tour around Murgab. We will visit in’s statue and white house of Murgab, where we will learn about the history of this region. From Murghab we continue our trip on the Pamir High way to Yashil Kul Lake. . Lunch in a hotel and overnight in a yurt or guesthouse.
Day 6. Murghab – Yashil Kul Lake, - Bulunkul Lake (200km 3/4 hrs)
The most beautiful lakes of the Pamirs are Yashil Kul and Bulunku stretched on the altitude of 3 700 meters above sea level, are situated in the Murghab district. Today we will spend a night near them. The color of water in Bulunkul is a subtle inter-play of violet and dark-blue in the sunlight. Species of fish like are found in abundance in the lake. There is the opportunity to see yaks, a unique species of domestic animals, sharing features of cow and sheep, traditionally used as a beast of burden apart from giving milk and meat products. On the way to the lake you will drive over Khargush pass (4 344 m). From Murghab we continue our trip on the Pamir High way to Bulun Kul Lake. Ak balik holy lake, Lunch at Alichor drive via gaizer to Bulunkul lake and Yashil kul lake, visit small hot spring. Dinner and night is in a home stay.
Day 7. Bulunkul Lake – langar (150km 4/5 hrs)
Breakfast. Drive to Langar village. The culmination of the tour is the approach to the Vakhan Corridor - the road here goes along a tall terrace and features dizzy serpentines and precipices. On a clear day you can see the snow-capped summits of some 7,000-metre peaks in the Hindu Kush, the highest region in Afghanistan. Lunch. Acquaintance with the life and traditions of locals. Dinner and overnight
Day 8. Langar– ishkashim (120km 2 hrs)
Continue to Ishkashim. On the way stop for hot springs at Garm-e-Chasma. After that we reach the mouth of the Wakhan River valley. This is where the 19th century Great Game ended, between the Russian and British empires. From here the road continues up along the north side of the river. There are amazing views of the Pamirs to the left and the Hindu Kush to the right. We take a break having a nice lunch at the Bibi Fatima hot springs. After Ishkashim we drive to Khorog,
Day 9. Ishkashim - Khorog (108km, 2-3 hrs).
After Ishkashim we will drive to Khorog, the capital of Gorno-Badakshan Autonomous Oblast. Khorog along the Panj river. After Vanj valley we will enter into the Pamir region. Khorog is a small town that at various times has been under the control of the Russia, the Emirate of Bukhara and Afghanistan. The Russians built a fort here in the Soviet era. With Khorog used to be a highly strategic location on the border with Afghanistan. However, today it languishes and it holds the distinction of being home the second highest botanical garden in the world second highest botanical garden. Reaching 3900 m the way you will see many different villages. Views of the valley are amazing. Lunch in a Chaikana. You will spend the full day in Khorog. Visit of the very interesting Regional Overnight in a traditional Pamiri house.
Day 10. khorog - Kalaykum (265 km, 6-7 hrs).
We take a break having a nice lunch at the Transfer to Kalaikum. The breathtaking landscape along the Panj river (Amu Darya). Across the river: Afghanistan. We will drive along the river, Today we will drive to Kalai Khum village. You will see Norak water reservoir that is called Tajik Sea. The highest point of the day is Shuraba pass (2 267 m) and after drive along Afghanistan border starts. This part will amaze you by its unique mountains – it is already Territory of Pamir Mountains. Over the centuries, the Pamirs have inspired the world’s greatest explorers – , Hsuan Tsang, Muhammad Haidar. And now you also have a chance to travel here. You will drive along natural border – Pyanj River. Having visited the Pamirs, many travellers called this giant mountain system the ocean of white and blue mountains. This night you will spend in a home stay to see the way of local people’s life.
Day 11: Kalai Khum – Khoburubot – Dushanbe (315 km, 7.8 hours)
In the morning we will drive to Dushanbe via Tawildara and Khaburabad pass (3252m) or via Kulyab region. We will driver high Khoburubot Pass (3 252) known as Western Pamir Tract. Kalaikhum is located on the Panj River, a major tributary of the famous Amu Darya (Oxus) River.The road goes through the most picturesque river valley and amazing gorges in the terrain, where one can stop for rest and shoot photos of the mountain and rivers. On the way you will see small villages and meet local people. Tajiks are by nature hard working, hospitable, and kind-hearted. This nation greatly respects its traditions and folklore. This trip is attractive for the lovers of exotics, those curious about the ethnic and cultural diversity and captivated by the beauty of wild nature. Dinner will be in a restaurant. Night is in a hotel. In Dushanbe. Arrive in Dushanbe late evening.
