At Bashy Tour

Day 1: Bishkek –arrival

Arrival to Bishkek early in the morning, transfer to the Flow Hostel Bishkek. Rest.

At 12:00 sightseeing tour: visit Kyrgyz National Philharmoniс, Statue of Manas, Oak Park, Ala-Too Square, Victory Square, Museum of Fine Arts and Osh market. Overnight at the hostel.

Day 2: Bishkek – Burana – Song-Kul (350km)

In the morning at 09:00, meet a guide and driver and depart to Song-Kul Lake. Along the way visit the Burana Tower, a small nearby Museum and open air Balbals (stone figures) which is left from ancient city Balasagun (11-13th centuries). Visitors can climb to the top of the Minaret and enjoy the beautiful view of the valley. Stop in Kochkor village to have lunch. Upon arrival to Song-Kol, overnight stay at a yurt camp.

Day:3 Song – Kul

Full-day free at Song-Kul Lake. Song-Kul is one of the highest lakes in Kyrgyzstan (2030 m above sea level). It’s a place where you can experience a nomadic life. This is a remote mountain lake situated on a treeless, high mountain plateau ( 3016 m ) where shepherds bring the livestock in the summertime, establish a camp where they will live – setting up their yurts. In this magnificent place you can see hundreds of herds and a lot of different yurts.

Overnight stay at the yurt camp.

Day:4 Song-Kul – Kyzyl Tuu (210km)

Breakfast. On the way, we will stop Naryn to have a lunch. Arrive to the village Kyzyl-Tuu which is remote village in Kyrgyzstan where we will experience Kyrgyz local culture and tour to village. (local medical center, school, governmental building etc). Overnight at the guesthouse. By evening you will experience Kyrgyz banya (sauna).

You will get a chance to be part of Kuimak Show which is traditional food show.

Day:5 Kyzyl-Tuu – Shyrykty (30km)

After breakfast Kyzyl-Tuu village, leaving for horse riding to Shyrykty. Our guide will help you how to adopt for horse riding, if you have no experience. First night in a house in Shyrykty gorge. Overnight in the tent.

Day:6 Shyrykty – Chatyr Kul (Ak-Sai) (30km)

On day six we will reach, Chatyr-Kul, which is a lake, located in Naryn region of Kyrgyz Republic at the altitude of 3,530 m. It is the third largest lake in the country with the area of 75 square km and its name is translated from Kyrgyz as a 'sky lake'

The water in Chatyr Kul is purely clean and almost fresh. There is no fish, but this place where the birds from Altay, Siberia and Kazakhstan hibernate. Being among glaciers, it is a natural habitat for various species including snow leopards, a national symbol of Kyrgyz Republic. Overnight in the tent.

Day 7: Chatyr Kul – Tash – Rabat (30km)

From Chatyr-Kol lake to Tashrabat caravanserai we will cross Tashrabat pass 3964 m. Arrival to Tashrabat, familiarizing with historical building. Dinner. Overnight in the yurt camp.

Tash-Rabat is a well preserved 15th century stone caravanserai in At Bashy district located at the altitude of 3200 metres. The structure consists of 31 rooms including cavities in the central hall.

Day 8: Tash-Rabat – Koshoi Korgon - Acha Kayindy (100km)

After having, good relaxing time and breakfast we will depart to Koshoi Korgon. Koshoi-Korgon is an ancient settlement, which is 12 km away from At-Bashi village. This unique historical monument is related to the period between VII and X centuries and used to be a Turkic fortress.

Than we arrive to Acha – Kayindy, which is small village in At-Bashy region. There Kyrgyz Traditional Shyrdak show will be on list. Overnight in the guesthouse.

Day 9: Visit The largest waterfall in Central Asia, Shar, in At Bashy. (30km)

The Shaar Waterfall is the highest in Central Asia.  It’s a great place for horseback riding and the views change throughout the horseback riding trip.  The mountain range of At-Bashy is really quite amazing and worth the trip from Naryn City.  The trek starts at the southerly edge of the village of Acha Kayindy where we will ride by horse. Overnight is same guesthouse in Acha Kayindy.

Day 10: Acha-Kayindy – Bishkek (360)

Buy souvenirs and depart to back home!

For a confirmed booking, a deposit of (10%) is required. Deposit is paid by credit card (secure payment via Stripe, no credit card fees). The remaining balance can be paid in cash upon start of the trip - unless Host & Traveler agree on different payment methods.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations can be made free of charge up to 30 days prior to the beginning of the booked service. The deposit (10%) is only refundable if the booking is canceled at least 30 days in advance.
