DAY 01: Delhi
Arrive in Delhi, you will be escorted to your hotel for an overnight stay. You will have the day to yourself to unpack and rest.

DAY 02: Delhi (explore Delhi, the capital of India)
After breakfast, visit Jama Masjid, one of India’s largest mosques. Experience an even older structure as you arrive at Humayun’s Tomb. Visit Raj Ghat, the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi, the India Gate & Parliament Building. Spend time clicking pictures and then head back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

 

DAY 03: Delhi - Ahmedabad (temples, history, and culture in Ahmedabad) (by flight)
Stone Jaali window at the Sidi Saiyyed Mosque. a flight to Ahmedabad and check in to a hotel. Embark on a tour of the Gandhi Sabarmati Ashram, cross the Sabarmati River towards the Sarkhej-Hathee Singh Jain Temple. Visit Sidi Saiyyed Mosque and the Swaminarayan Temple. Overnight stay at the hotel.

 

DAY 04: Ahmedabad - Palitana (discover the walled city of Sihor) (214 kms/ 4 hrs)
After breakfast, visit the ancient structures of Bhadra Fort, Teen Darwaja, and Bhadrakali Temple. Afterward, embark on a Heritage walk to visit the various mosques and temples of Ahmedabad. Return to our hotel to pack up and embark to our next destination, Palitana. En route, stop at Sihor, a walled city and fort among rolling green and rocky hills. Watch the old wooden houses on the banks of the river Gautami before departing to Palitana where you will stay overnight in the hotel.

DAY 05: Palitana - Junagadh (visit the shrine of Shiva) (173 kms/ 4 hrs)
Somnath TempleDepart early morning for Shatrunjaya Hill to visit the astounding Jain temples. Return to hotel for breakfast and leave for the city of Junagadh. En route, a stop at Somnath to visit the famous Somnath Temple. Located on the western coast of India, the temple is one of the twelve shrines of Shiva. Arrive at Junagadh.

DAY 06: Junagadh (take a walking tour of Junagadh)
After breakfast, take a tour of the magnificent city of Junagadh, located at the foot of the Girnar Hills. Embark on a walking tour to visit Diwan Chowk, Mausoleum Mahabat Maqbara, mosques and temples, Uparkot Fort and Ashoka’s Rock Edicts. Return to our hotel to spend the night.

DAY 07: Junagadh - Dwarka (visit the birthplace of Gandhi) (208 kms/4 hrs)
After breakfast, leave for Dwarka on the banks of North-Western India. On the way, visit Kirti Temple, and you will watch the great tower adorned with a bronze sun, moon, and earth. Visit the Gandhi House at Porbandar, the birthplace of Gandhi. Upon arrival in Dwarka, check in the hotel and relax. Go on an evening tour of the Ghats, riverside stairways, and temples scattered throughout the city.

DAY 08: Dwarka (learn about the ancient temples of Dwarka)
After breakfast, visit Dwarkadhish Temple, also known as Jagat Mandir, which was built in honor of the Hindu god Krishna. Head towards Rukshmani Temple, an ancient Hindu masterpiece, near the Gomti River. In the afternoon, explore the Ghats, as well as river and seaside stairways along the Arabian Sea and Gomti River. Stroll through the Bazaar, where you can shop for local and authentic goods.

DAY 09: Dwarka - Jamnagar (stroll through the old city of Jamnagar) (130 kms/2.5 hrs)
After breakfast, drive to Jamnagar, located in northern India close to the Gulf of Kutch. Visit the old city in the afternoon, watch the pastel-colored wooden and stone buildings. Visit Lakhota Fort alongside the Lakhota Lake. See the Lakhota Palace and Museum - in the center of the lake, near the fort is the Ranmal Lake and the Bala Hanuman Temple.

DAY 10: Jamnagar to Bhuj (explore the colorful bazaar in Bhuj) (255 kms/5 hrs)

After breakfast, drive to Bhuj. In Bhuj, take a break from ancient temples and visit Prag Mahal, an Italian-gothic 19th-century palace. Proceed to the 18th-century palace, Aina Mahal. Head south along the Harmirsar Lake and Chhatardi Talav to the beautiful Swaminarayan Temple and watch the white towers adorned with gold spires. Experience local cuisine and browse colorful goods at the Saraf Bazaar before watching the sunset over the Chattris ruins. Spend the night in the hotel.

DAY 11
Bhuj - Dasada (who's up for a jeep safari?) (276 kms/5 hrs)

After breakfast, drive to Dasada. In the afternoon, visit the Anjar vegetable market and sample regional fruits. In the late afternoon, embark on a jeep safari in Little Rann of Kutch. Watch the last of the Indian wild ass; a mix between a donkey and a horse, these adorable animals are extremely fast. We may also view other wildlife, such as wolves and desert foxes.

DAY 12: Dasada (discover the little Rann of Kutch)
In the morning, go on a jeep safari in the Little Rann of Kutch and view wildlife as they come out to greet the day. Head back to the hotel for breakfast. Proceed towards Kharapat Rabari village, a tribal village in Little Rann of Kutch. Experience the culture and handicrafts of the locals, such as their embroidery and bead-work. Head back to the hotel and relax in Dasada.

DAY 13: Dasada - Udaipur (enjoy stunning Hindu temples) (341 km/6 hrs)
After breakfast, depart for Udaipur. On the way, visit two enchanting temples- Hijra's Temple at Becharaji and Sun Temple at Modhera. Arrive in Udaipur and check in to the hotel and relax.

DAY 14: Udaipur (view sparkling Udaipur by night)
After breakfast, visit the Udaipur City Palace. Visit the magnificent Sheliyon Ki Bari and Jagdish Temples before embarking on an evening boat ride on the serene Lake Pichola. Return to our hotel and rest. Head to the airport for the final departure.

For a confirmed booking, a deposit of (10%) is required. Deposit is paid by credit card (secure payment via Stripe, no credit card fees). The remaining balance can be paid in cash upon start of the trip - unless Host & Traveler agree on different payment methods.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations can be made free of charge up to 30 days prior to the beginning of the booked service. The deposit (10%) is only refundable if the booking is canceled at least 30 days in advance.
