Safari Tour/Trek You will travel on part of the Karakoram Highway, the 8th wonder of the world. , Part of it is also  the old Silk Route which is on the footsteps of Marco-polo. This is one of the highest and most spectacular roads in the world. A highway that cuts through the crest of the Karakoram Range affording unrivalled views of the snow capped peaks, while linking the historic cultures of South and North and the Hunza valleys with Kashghar and Central Asia.

The Karakoram Highway is the life-artery for the Northern Areas of the country and provides the road link between China via Khunjerab Pass 4733m, opened in 1982 also with Central Asian States and mainland in the south of the country

From the Raikot bridge on the Karakuram Highway a jeep able trek forks off accompanying the Dimar Valley to the FAIRY MEADOW, is situated at the base of Nanga Parbat with the elevation of approximately 3280m from the sea level. The meadow are flowers strewn high altitude alpine pastures situated amongst pine forest, with an imposing backdrop massive North face of NANGA PARBAT, the world’s ninth highest mountain. Here is wonderful place for camping This offers easy access to an above 8000M peak base camp and one of the world’s finest mountain panoramas with several excellent short side trips and climbs. The jeep road from Raikot Bridge to Jehal is unforgettable with a dramatic gorge (that drops 200M), takes around 2hrs then 2-3 hrs walk to the Fairy Meadow 3300M. At the end of jeep road you can also arrange horse ridding to the Fairy Meadow and also to ahead. From the Fairy Meadow there are many side trips.

 ITINERARY:

DAY -1 ARRIVAL ISLAMABAD/ RAWALPINDI:

Arrival at Islamabad International Airport and transfer to comfortable centrally locate Hotel. The remainder of the day is free for you to relax and recover from the long flight to Pakistan. In the Afternoon for those who desire will be a tour of Pakistan capital of Islamabad and busting Bazzars of Rawalpindi. Visit Pakistan movement, lok Virsa Heritage here displaying/depicted all Pakistan culture, visit Damane Koh a beautiful picnic point for Pakistani holiday’s makers where you have a panoramic view of Capital Islamabad worth looking Faisal Mosque and Gov. official building Parliament House, Prime Minister house, Superim court and some major business towers top looking from this location visit Fisal Mosque see modern Muslim feature of architecture and later drive you onto Murree road one of very busy road in Rawalpindi In the evening we have a welcome dinner where you will have the opportunity to meet your guide and other member of group. Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 02-ISLAMABAD –KARAKORUM HIGHWAY-CHILAS VALLEY:

We travel on the Grand Trunk Road and onto the KKH at Hasanabdal. Passing fruit groves (Lychee, orange, tobacco) and small crop fields before heading up to Abbottabad, a garrison city and hill station for escaping the summer heat. The winding path begins up to a high plain and  down to snake along the Indus river towered over by mountains and foothills of the Himalaya. We pass through frontier-like towns of Besham and Dassu before  Chilas, the start of Gilgit Baltistan

 

DAY 03 CHILAS T-RAIKOT-TATO VILLAGE-FAIRY MEADOWS.

Drive for Tato village..En route have to stop at Chilas Rock carving .  Lunch at Tato village. We began walk to fairy Meadows 3 hours. Make sure you have your jacket, since it is chilly at the meadows especially when the sun is going down. Fairy Meadows a lush green place name by German climber. An altitude 3300m. It is thick forests cadre, birch tree, pine, Juniper and tamarisk. The sun sets and the dark sky brings a completely different mood. You truly feel you are in the wild, and in the lap of nature. With absolutely no activity to do when it is dark, no networks, everyone is drawn to the fire, bound to listen to the crackling of burning wood and pay attention to conversations. This happens no more in city life. Overnight stay in traditional wooden made Hut with a marvelous view of Nanga Parbat and Raikot glacier.

DAY 04 FAIRY MEADOWS-BEYAL CAMPING-NANGA PARBAT BASE CAMP –FAIRY MEADOWS.

After breakfast we start a gentle walk to Beyal camp through green meadows and forest. An hour walk to Beyal camping with some incredible wooden design huts. From this part Raikot, Boulder peak and Jiliper pass is so impressive view. A short pretty rest and head to Nanga Parbat view point and Base Camp. Ascend steep zig zag way 45 minutes’ walk.  At this location you have nicer and significant view of half of Karakorum Mountains. Killer Mountain is your front. Now you are almost under the looming of killer mountain NP. Lunch and spend some pretty time for photography. Afternoon we trace the same way to Fairy Meadows. Around trip is 6/7 hours.

DAY 04 FAIRY MEADOWS – TATO VILLAGE KKH -CHINESE GRAVEYARD -CONTINENTAL PLATES-RAKAPOSHI VIEW POINT-HUNZA

Walk down to Tato village and ride onto ou Jeep and down KKH. Drive to Gilgit on Karakoram Highway.. En route dramatic stap at the world three greatest mountain ranges. The Karakorum The Himalayas and Hindu Kush. Drive and  visit Chinese graveyard at Danyore monuments, continental plates at Bedero Khai Chalt . Rakaposhi 7788m view point for lunch and photography. Drive to Kariamabad where everything come. Explore the Karimabad village include meeting with local folks, and also visit some of the important historical sites including the Baltit Fort and Altit Fort. .Visit colorful Bazar of Handicrafts, Gems and some local manuscript. Drive to Eagles Nest for Sunset Photography. Duiker Eagles nest is highest place see a marvelous and panoramic view of above 7000m mountains Huna Peak, Lady, Fingger, Rakaposhi,Diran Peak,Hoper glacier,Golden Peak and Ultar I and Ultar II and shishper peak. Driving distanced 2/3 hours sightseeing is not included for this time.

 

Day 05 KARIABAD –ATTA ABAD LAKE-BOATING- GULMIT –SUSPENSION BRIGE-BORIT LAKE-PASSU:

Wake to see  sun Rise over (Diran Peak ) with  breathtaking views to Golden peak, Rakaposhi, Ultar 1 Ultar 2 and lady finger and down into Hunza Valley  and to Nagar . We drive through the high fruit tree ted fields being readied for spring planting and cross the long tunnels to Attabad lake. Here we take a boat tour to explore the lake formed when a landslide blocked the Indus River submerging a village and farm lands.  We stop at i suspension bridge before Borit Lake for lunch under a looming Shispar peak.  Look down onto Passu glaciers white crevasses. Pass Ghulkin Glacier which can spill over the KKH and see the spectacular cathedral peaks Hunza river and beautiful rounded river rocks.

Day 06 PASSU –NAGAR- HOPER VALLEY-GANISH VILLAGE:

Travel back along the Hunza River and  up to  Hopper Valley. We walk on its’ Black Glacier before exploring Hopper Village and returning to our hotel with views of Lady Finger and Ultar 1 and 2. We visit the main Hunza bazaar, full of dried fruit oils and handicrafts, before visiting Baltit fort. Guests can return at their leisure.

 

Day 07 –HUNZA –DANYORE-CHILAS-KKH-ROCK CARVING-DASSU-INDUS RIVER-BESHAM:

Hunza – Gilgit –Besham via Karakorum highway . Take in the spectacular scenic view of mountains and Indus  valley  we stop at more ancient rock carvings along the way and take advantage of natural viewpoints and waterfalls.

 

Day 08 BESHAM-THAKOT BRIGE-MENSEHRA-ABBOTTAABAD-TAXILA MUSEUM –ISLAMABAD-AIRPORT.

In the greener Himalayan foothills we wind back down and stop off at the world heritage dig sites and Taxila Museum  before visiting Shah Fasial mosque and Islamabad sights with  dinner in food street  before stopping for and Airport Transfer with a lot of good memories from colorful culture and high mountains.
