Day 1: Arrive in Ulaanbaatar Tour guide and private vehicle will welcome you at the airport and will take you to the hotel. Depending on the international flight schedule, we will do the tour orientation on your arrival or the next morning. Meal: On your own Accommodation: 3 Star Hotel (downtown)
Day 2: Cycling from Gachuurt to Terelj National Park After breakfast at the hotel we will get in the private transportation vehicle at 9™ clocks, to the Gachuurt micro district, which is 20 km away from the city. From that point we will start cycling on dirt roads, traveling 25 km and passing over 2-3 hills. Lunch will be served on the road at noon and we will have a picnic with Mexican style wraps and tacos. We will pass by small groups of families with herd animals and vegetable gardens. Half of the road is steppe-like valleys with short stretches through forests and some speed downhill runs. The area is a half forest with pine trees and Siberian larch trees and half bare mountains. Expect your ride to go by herds of sheep, yaks, cows, and sheep in the fenceless grassland. The truck or minivan will follow us with spare tires, supplies, and water for convenience and emergency. At the end of the trip, you will arrive at the Ger camp at the Terelj National Park and be located in the gers by 2-3 PM. A ger is a traditional accommodation made with wooden parts and natural felt. It is furnished with beds, table and a stove for making a fire for heat if needed. The dining place, shared lavatory and shower are located nearby. This is not a race, so please take your time and try not to get sore from your first-day cycling. At the ger camp, we will enjoy the scenic beautiful natural background and finish with a Korean style dinner Meal; BF, L, D Accommodation: Tourist ger camp
Day 3: Walking at the Terelj National Park After a continental and western breakfast we will have a ride to the beautiful massive rock hill appropriately called Turtle Rock. You can then explore the Ariyabal Monastery located in the park. After the walk and temple visit, we will have lunch at the ger camp. After lunch, we join a local family to learn of their nomadic lifestyle and unique culture. The family lives year-round in the ger and migrates to different areas in the territory for better grasslands for their horses, cows, goats, and sheep. Here we also are taught traditional games and can play with local children and families. You will experience some of the ancient life and culture, and we may work with the herds, or take down the ger and build it again for a taste of Mongolian life. In the evening we will go back to our Ger camp and stay our final night in the countryside Meal; BF, L, D Accommodation: Tourist ger camp
Day 4: Horseback Riding to the Tsonjin Boldog and Ulaanbaatar After a western and continental breakfast our vehicle will take us to the horse trekking rendezvous. Local guides will give us an orientation about Mongolian horse attributes and safety. After training, you begin your trek on horseback through green hills and rivers for about 2 hours. We will head to the Tsonjin Boldog valley, dominated by the enormous statue of Genghis Khan. You arrive at the site and tour the visitor center of the statue for historical and cultural knowledge, and climb to the top of the stainless steel monument. Enjoy lunch at the center and then travel back to Ulaanbaatar, a journey of ninety minutes. Transfer back to the hotel. After arrival in the afternoon, we will have a city tour, with shopping and a cultural show that night. The program will include: A visit to Zaisan Hill for a panoramic view of the whole city Stops at the State Department Store and the Gobi factory store for the biggest selection of gifts, souvenir, and fine cashmere Attendance at traditional Music and Dance concert Farewell dinner at a western restaurant Meal: BF, L, D Accommodation: 3 Star Hotel (downtown)
Day 5: Departure The guide and a vehicle will pick you up at the hotel and escort you to the airport.

For a confirmed booking, a deposit of (10%) is required. Deposit is paid by credit card (secure payment via Stripe, no credit card fees). The remaining balance can be paid in cash upon start of the trip - unless Host & Traveler agree on different payment methods.
Cancellations can be made free of charge up to 30 days prior to the beginning of the booked service. The deposit (10%) is only refundable if the booking is canceled at least 30 days in advance.
