6 Days Pamir Highway Trip

Dushanbe- Kalai Khumb
Picking-up from a hotel/guest-house in Dushanbe and heading to Kalai-Khumb. Short stop to see the Khulbuk Fortress in Kulyab. Overnight in a guest-house in Kalai-Khumb town.
Kalai Khumb- Khorog
Driving to Khorog along the Panj river with great views of Afghan villages. Afternoon Khorog City Tour: Botanical Garden, Khorog Historical Museum, University of Central Asia Campus, City Park, Visitor Information Center. Overnight in a homestay in Khorog.
Departing Khorog and driving to Wakhan. On the way visit ruins of Kah-Kaha and Yamchun fortresses, pre-Islamic shrines, Bibi-Fatima hot spring, and Sufi Muborak Museum. Overnight in a homestay in Yamg.
Driving to Langar to see the petroglyphs 1-hour hike and next to Bulunkul settlement (considered one of the coldest places on Earth) via the Khargush pass (4344 m). 2-3 hike to the viewpoint of the pass. In the afternoon discover the village and the lakes. Overnight in a homestay in Bulunkul.
Driving to Karakul village. On the way shortstop in Murghab to visit the local bazaar and handicraft shops. In the afternoon hike along the Karakul lake. Overnight in a homestay in Karakul.
Today we will drive to Kyrgyz border and then to Osh city. The road will go along amazing mountains and high passes. On the way you will drive over a high mountain pass – Taldik. It is 3 615 meters high! You will never forget the amazing views of the road and mountains around it.
