Here's a three-day whirlwind excursion to this culturally distinct region. Start in the capital city of Dushanbe and finish up in the "Stone City" of Tashkent. Explore diverse highlights in dushanbe, soak in the scenic beauty in Iskanderkul and learn about life in little-visited central asia.
Dushanbe/Iskandarkŭl --- Visit some sights in the capital city of Dushanbe, including museums, monuments and so on. Meet the locals and explore this gorgeous landscape in the Fann Mountains/ Kŭli Iskandarkŭl - spend a full day exploring.Iskanderkul is a mountain lake of glacial origin in Tajikistan's Sughd Province. It lies at an altitude of 2,195 meters (7,201 ft) on the northern slopes of the Gissar Range in the Fann Mountains. Triangular in shape, it has a surface area of 3.4 square kilometers (1.3 sq mi) and is up to 72 meters (236 ft) deep. Claimed to be one of the most beautiful mountain lakes in the former Soviet Union
Hike in the mountains to an impressive waterfall. After a picnic lunch, return to Sarytag village.
Kŭli Iskandarkŭl/Khŭjand --- Continue on to Istaravshan and visit an ancient settlement in Ura-Tube. Enjoy an optional lunch in a local chaikhana (teahouse) before driving to Khujand. Explore the city in the afternoon, visiting the museum and a mausoleum. Included Activities: Mug Tepe Visit

Khŭjand/Tashkent - start your journey to Uzbekistan. Tashkent, Uzbekistan’s capital, shows its shimmering roots as a Silk Road city even today. The city 2,000 year-old-city.Yet, this city, whose name means “Stone Fortress” -- a title adopted in the 11th century, though Tashkent’s roots date back to the dawn of the first millennia A.D.

For a confirmed booking, a deposit of (10%) is required. Deposit is paid by credit card (secure payment via Stripe, no credit card fees). The remaining balance can be paid in cash upon start of the trip - unless Host & Traveler agree on different payment methods.
Cancellations can be made free of charge up to 30 days prior to the beginning of the booked service. The deposit (10%) is only refundable if the booking is canceled at least 30 days in advance.
