Uzbekistan Tour to Khiva, Samarkand, Bukhara, 8 Days

Day 1. Arrival – Tashkent

Arrival in majestic Tashkent. Transfer to the hotel.  Free time on disposal. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2. Tashkent

In the morning start the city tour by experienced coordination and guidance by the local guide in Tashkent. Your guidance companion will take you to Khast Imam Architectural Complex, followed by Charsu bazaar and the ride in Tashkent Metro from Charsu to Amir Timur station. The tour will finish by visiting Applied Arts Museum. Free evening. Overnight at the hotel.

Places to visit:   Khast – Imam Architectural Complex, Chorsu Local Bazaar, Tashkent Metro Ride (Chorsu – Amir Timur stations), Applied Arts Museum

Duration:             4 – 5 hours

 

Day 3. Tashkent – Urgench – Khiva

Early breakfast and transfer to the airport to take the flight to Urgench. Upon arrival, driver in the city will meet you and transfer to Khiva which will take up to 30 minutes for the way. Arrive in Khiva and visit Itchan – Kala Fortress where is considered as a live historical museum of the time. Free time for late afternoon. Overnight at the hotel.  

Places to visit:   Mukhammad Aminkhan Madrasah, Mukhammad Rahimkhan Madrasah, Kalta Minor minaret, Kunya Ark, Juma Mosque, Tosh – Khovli Palace, Pakhlavan Makhmud Mausoleum, Islom – Khoja Minaret

Duration:             4 – 5 hours

Day 4. Khiva – Bukhara

Early morning start driving to Bukhara (470 km, 7 hours drive). Lunch on stop. The road goes through the Kyzylkum Desert where you will be able to witness the panoramic view of Amu Darya River on the way. Arrive in emir’s city Bukhara late afternoon. Free time in the evening. Overnight at a hotel.

Day 5. Bukhara

In the morning at 9:00 a.m meet your professional local guide in Bukhara. He/she will be introducing you with all ancient heritage of old Bukhara during the city tour in its old part. Free time in the evening. Overnight at the hotel.

 

Places to visit:    Lyab – I Hauz, Magkhoki – Attar Mosque, Chor – Minor Madrasah, Taki – Saraffon Trading domes, Poi – Kalyan Complex (Kalyan Minaret, Kalyan Mosque, Miri – Arab Madrasah), Ulugbek and Abdulazizkhan Madrasahs, Ark Fortress, Bolo Hauz Mosque, Ismail Samani, Mausoleum, Chashma Ayub Mausoleum

Duration:             5 – 6 hours

Day 6. Bukhara – Samarkand

After breakfast take the continuation of your Bukhara tour with the guide and a driver. After sightseeing outside touristic spots of Bukhara drive to the railway station to take the train to Samarkand at 15:15. Arrive in the marble Samarkand late afternoon and meet the driver to be transferred to the hotel. Check in to the hotel for the overnight.  

Day 7. Samarkand – Tashkent

City tour in Samarkand starts in the morning when you meet your local guide. Spend the day sightseeing the all historical spots of unforgettable Samarkand. At 16:00, the driver leaves you at the train station. Take the evening train back to Tashkent. Expected arrival in Tashkent is at 19:10. Transfer to the hotel upon arrival for overnight.

 

Places to visit: Gur – E – Amir Mausoleum, Registan Square, Bibi – Khanym Mosque, Siyab Local Bazaar, Shah-i-Zinda Necropolis Complex, Ulugbek Observatory

Duration: 5 – 6 hours

 

Day 8. Tashkent – Departure

Free time for your disposal. Last transfer to the airport. Departure.  You will fly back home with full of impressions about the wonderland, Uzbekistan.
