1 Day DASHOGUZ – KONE-URGENCH – “THE KARAKUMS GLARE”
Meet the tourists at the Uzbekistan – Turkmenistan customs border. Transfer from the border through the Dashoguz region to Kone-Urgench. Drive to the architectural monuments of Old Urgench, Capital of Khorezm in X-XII centuries. During the tour, visit the Mausoleum of Najm al-Din al-Kubra, Tyurabek Khanum, Il-Arslan, Tekesh Ibn Hadzhibey, the highest minaret in Central Asia Kutlyg Timur. Picnic style lunch. After lunch, transfer to “The Karakums Glare” crater, that is located at the North of Ashgabat, stop in a small nomadic village and in the evening observe the spectacular and fascinating view of the gas crater. Picnic style dinner. Overnight in National Turkmen yurts.
2 Day “THE KARAKUMS GLARE” - ASHGABAT
After the breakfast, drive to Ashgabat, check in to the hotel. Visit “Old Nisa” -The Sanctuary of Parhian Kings (UNESCO site). Lunch time at the local restaurant. Continue to visit the State Museum of History. It stores ancient artifacts found at the excavations of the settlements Nisa, Merv and Gonurdepe, collection of vintage Turkmen carpets, rare examples of national clothing, jewelries, and antique weapons. The 9 halls display figurines of Athens, Eros, silver gilded griffin, horn-shaped ivory vessels-rhytons of the Parthian era, gold jewelries, medallions-stamps from Margiana and Buddhist artifacts. There are also a fossilized piece of wood of the Paleozoic period, aged 270,000,000, dinosaurs’ footprints, an 820-kg meteorite fallen in Kunya-Urgench in 1 and a lot more. Dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight at the hotel
3 Day ASHGABAT - SERDAR
After the breakfast at the hotel, drive to Serdar. On the way, explore Turkmen ethnic life at the villages which we pass, also view beautiful mountains with the waterfalls. Arrive to Serdar check in the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
4 Day SERDAR – DEHISTAN
Transfer from Serdar to Dehistan, Dehistan/Mishrian was the principal city of Western Turkmenistan from the 10th to the 14th centuries. Located on a major caravan route from Gurgan in northern Iran to Khorezm, its finest buildings were constructed by the Khorezmshahs. Major surviving monuments include parts of a minaret built by Abu Bini Ziyard in 1004/5 and another built 200 years later, which formed part of the mosque of Muhammad Khorezmshah: this still has a superbly decorated portal, 18 m high. The city was strongly fortified with a double row of walls and occupied c. 200 hectares: it declined and was abandoned in the 1 5th century. Seven kilometers to the north is the Meshat/Meskhet cemetery, where in the teenth century some 20 mausolea were preserved. Of these 5 still survive, including the important mosque/mausoleum Shir Kabir with an elaborately decorated mihrab of carved and coloured stucco. In addition to the medieval city and cemetery, there are also important sites from the third millennium BC. Dinner on the way to Balkanabat. Arrival to Balkanabat check in to the hotel, overnight at the hotel.
5 Day BALKANABAT – YANGI-KALA - TURKMENBASHY
After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Yangi-Kala canyons, which are located in the north-west of Turkmenistan in the Balkan velayat (region), 160 km to the west of Turkmenbashy city. From the Turkmen language, “Yangi-Kala” translates as “fiery fortresses”. This name was given to the canyons due to the predominant red color of rocks from which the mountain ranges and cliffs are composed. Picnic style lunch at the canyons. Transfer to Turkmenbashy and check in to the hotel in “Avaza” NTZ. Dinner at the hotel restaurant, overnight at the hotel.
6 Day “AVAZA” – NATIONAL TOURISM ZONE
After the breakfast excursion to Avaza hotel resorts which are located on the seashore of the Caspian Sea. Excursion to Sport Complex.
Lunch at the hotel restaurant with traditional Turkmen meals.
Excursion to museums.
Rest time. Dinner at the hotel restaurant.We are returning to Ashgabat by plane

Cancellations can be made free of charge up to 30 days prior to the beginning of the booked service. The deposit (10%) is only refundable if the booking is canceled at least 30 days in advance.
