ROUTE: Ashgabat - Turkmenbashi – “Avaza” - The canyons of Yangykala - Balkanabat – Dehistan – Serdar – Ashgabat Kov-ata - Darvaza – Dashoguz - Mary - Ancient Merv - Mary - Turkmenabad - Kugitang - Plateau of dinosaurs - Kugitang - Turkmenabad – Buhkara – Samarkant – Charwak – Tashkent.


DAY 1: ASHGABAT-TURKMENBASHI

Meeting with a local guide at Ashgabat International Airport.
Transfer to the hotel.
Sightseeing tour of Ashgabat: visiting the tourism attractions of the capital: parks
and monuments, an impressive mosque and other iconic buildings.
Lunch at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, transfer to the airport by Ashgabat-Turkmenbashy domestic
flight at 20:00/20:55.
Meeting the tourists at the International Turkmenbashy Airport.
Transfer to the National Tourism Zone “AVAZA”, check in to the hotel.
Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 2: Turkmenbashy “AVAZA” – NATIONAL TOURISM ZONE

After the breakfast excursion to Avaza hotel resorts which are
located on the seashore of the Caspian Sea. Excursion to Sport
Complex.
Lunch at the hotel restaurant with traditional Turkmen meals.
Excursion to museums.
Rest time. Dinner at the hotel
restaurant.
Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 3: TURKMENBASHI - YANGI-KALA - BALKANABAT

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the canyons of Yangi Kala.
The natural park is most beautiful during sunset, when
everything is colored bright red. Barbecue lunch. After lunch
transfer Balkanabat city, checkin to “Nebitci” hotel. Dinner at
the local restaurant of the hotel.

Day 4: BALKANABAT – DEHISTAN – SERDAR CITY

Breakfast at the hotel, check out, transfer to Dehistan,
Dehistan/Mishrian was the principal city of Western Turkmenistan from the 10th to the 14th centuries. Located on a major caravan route from Gurgan in northern Iran to Khorezm, its finest buildings were constructed by the Khorezmshahs. Major surviving monuments include parts of a minaret built by Abu Bini Ziyard in 1004/5 and another built 200 years later, which formed part of the mosque of Muhammad Khorezmshah: this still has a superbly decorated portal, 18 m high. The city was strongly fortified with a double row of walls and occupied c. 200 hectares: it declined and was abandoned in the 1 5th century. Seven kilometers to the north is the Meshat/Meskhet cemetery, where in the teenth century some 20 mausolea were preserved. Of these 5 still survive, including the important mosque/mausoleum Shir Kabir with an elaborately decorated mihrab of carved and coloured stucco. In addition to the medieval city and cemetery, there are also important sites from the third millennium BC. Lunch on the way to Serdar city. Arrival to Serdar check in to the hotel, overnight at the hotel.

Day 5: SERDAR – “KOV-ATA” CAVE LAKE – ASHGABAT

After the breakfast at the hotel, drive to Ashgabat city. On the way, explore Turkmen ethnic life at the villages which we pass, also view beautiful mountains with the waterfalls. We continue our trip to Kov-Ata (Bakharden underground lake). Arrival to the cave, total length of the cave in which the lake is located
is 250 m, the lake itself is 75 m, the width of the lake is 8 m by 23 m, the depth is up to 14 m. The water temperature is from +33 to +38 ° C all year round. Lunch in the style of barbecue. Arrive to Ashgabat and check in the hotel.

Day 6: ASHGABAT – OLD NISA - DARVAZA

After the breakfast. Visit “Old Nisa” -The Sanctuary of
Parhian Kings (UNESCO site). Nisa (Ancient Greek:Νῖσος and Νίσα and Νίσαιον) (also Parthaunisa) was an ancient settlement of the Iranian peoples, located near (modern-day) Bagir village, 18 km southwest of Ashgabat, Turkmenistan.
Nisa is described by some as the first seat of central
government of the Parthians. It is traditionally assumed to have been founded by Arsaces I (reigned c. 250 BC–211 BC) and was reputedly the royal residence of the Parthian kings, although it has not been established that the fortress at Nisa was either a royal residence or a mausoleum.In 2007, the fortress was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Lunch time at the local restaurant. After we transfer to “Darvaza” Gas Crater that is located at the North of Ashgabat, stop in a small nomadic village and in the evening observe the spectacular and fascinating view of the gas crater. Picnic style dinner. Overnight in National Turkmen yurts.

Day 7: DARVAZA – KONEURGENCH (DASHOGUZ)

After breakfast transfer from the Dashoguz region to Kone-Urgench. Drive to the architectural monuments of Old Urgench, Capital of Khorezm in X-XII centuries. During the tour, visit the
Mausoleum of Najm al-Din al-Kubra, Tyurabek Khanum, Il-Arslan, Tekesh Ibn Hadzhibey, the highest minaret in Central Asia Kutlyg Timur. Picnic style lunch. Free time. Overnight at the Dashoguz hotel.

DAY 8: DASHOGUZ – ASHGABAT - MARY

After breakfast, transfer to Mary (Old Merv). Check in to the hotel. Lunch at the fish restaurant with the elements of rich Turkmen culture. After lunch, Mary city tour visiting national museums, monuments and Turkmen bazaar. Overnight at the “Mary” hotel

DAY 9: MARY – OLD MERV

After breakfast visit the Ancient Merv, located on the Great Silk Road and one of the largest and most important cities of the ancient world.
Guided tour: Giz Gala, Erk Gala, Soltan Gala, Soltan Sanjar
Mausoleum and Ibn Zeid Mausoleum. Lunch at the restaurant Mary.
After luch continue tour in Old Merv. Dinner at the hotel.

DAY 10: MARY – TURKMENABAT

After breakfast, transfer to the Turkmenabat city. Check in to “Jeyhun” hotel. Free day for rest.

DAY 11: FARAP-TURKMENABAD – KUGITANG (480KM)

After breakfast, drive to Kugitang Reserve. A trip to the national park Kugitang. Arrival in the region of
the Kugitang mountains and in the tourist camp in Koytendag. Accommodation at the base camp.
Dinner. Overnight at the camp.

Day 12: KUGITANG –DINOSAUR PLATEAU-KUGITANG

A trip to the Dinosaur Plateau – some decades ago the inner layer of the mountain appeared due to the surface rock displacement opening the picture left by dinosaur family on a soil not yet turned to stone. Four footprint paths can be seen clearly – three left by adults and one probably by a baby dinosaur. Lunch.
Sightseeing of landmarks of Kugitang Mountains:
waterfall, gorge, Kyrk Gyz cave. Return to the tourist camp.

Day 13: KUGITANG RESERVE TREKKING & WILDLIFE

After breaking camp in the morning we set off on our hike
through the colorful canyons and across the breathtaking ridge
of the Kugitang range. We make a climb further up to the
mountains where we can see one of the beautiful waterfalls of Hojapil village.
Return to the base camp. Lunch and enjoy time to rest.
In the late afternoon hours, we go wildlife watching, trekking through the nearby gorges. We stop at dawn with view of the water place and with some luck will have a good chance to see
some of the endangered Ibexes. Apart from Ibexes, the area inhabits similarly protected Urials (Arkhar - mountain sheep), Karakal wild cats and very rare species of brown bears and Persian leopards. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 14: KUGITANG – TURKMENABAD

Drive back to Turkmenabad (480 km). En route, visit Kaynar-Baba Lake with the hydrogen sulphide spring and a holy fish, which is invisible in the lake. Continue to Turkmenabad crossing Amudarya River. Arrival to Turkmenabad, check-in to the hotel. Dinner.
Overnight at the hotel.

Day 15: TURKMENABAD – FARAP – BUKHARA

Breakfast at hotel. Accompanying tourists to Turkmenistan�Uzbekistan Farap/Alat border point. The end of Turkmenistan tour. After we say goodbye to Turkmenistan as we make our way to Uzbekistan border via Turkmenabat which will take another 4.5 hours. Upon arrival to the border point we’ll go through custom procedures and continue on to drive directly to Bukhara via Turkmenabat. Arrival and take rest after long drive.
Dinner. Overnight at hotel

Day 16: Bukhara.

Breakfast at the hotel.
City tour: Visit Lyabi-Khauz Ensemble, Magoki-Attori
Mosque, , trade domes, Kalyan Minaret, Kalyan Mosque
and Miri-Arab Madrasah, Ulugbek and Abdulazizkhan

Day 17: Bukhara.
Breakfast at the hotel. City tour of outside Bukhara.

Day 18: Bukhara-Samarkand. (240 km / 4-5 hrs)

Early check out hotel
Transfer to Samarkand city from Bukhara by bus.
City tour The mausoleum of Gur Emir, a burial place of
Tamer Lang and other princess of his family.
Registan Square, the heart of Samarkand consisting of Madrassa of Ulugbek, Madrassa Sher-Dor and
Tillya-Kori Madrassah.
Bibi khonim Mosque – The biggest mosque in Central Asia.
Dinner Overnight in Samarkand city

Day 19: Samarkand.

Breakfast in the hotel. Visit:
Shakhi-Zinda (Alive King) Necropolis, a site of
pilgrimage visited since the 11th century and marked by
holiness.
Ulugbek Observatory – The biggest observatory of his
time.
Lunch. After lunch visit to Konigil Village “Meros” old
paper factory which is producing Samarkand paper with
ancient style.
Shopping at famous oriental bazzar Siyob.
Dinner. Overnight in Samarkand city.

Day 20: Samarkand –Tashkent.

Full day city tour of Samarkand
Visiting the Saint Daniel Complex, Carpet factory and
wine show room optional. Take a fast train Afrosiyab
to Tashkent. Arrival to Tashkent check in and Dinner .
Overnight in Tashkent

Day 21: Tashkent.

Breakfast at hotel.

Ensemble of Hazret Imam. Here you can see the oldest manuscript of Uzbekistan and famous Muslim
heritage – Holy Koran Mushaf of Othman which also has the certificate of authenticity from UNESCO.
Kukeldash Madrasah, located on the square
Chorsu, was built in the 16th century during
the reign of the Sheibankhan dynasty. Now it is
a college, where the basics of Islam are taught.
Chorsu Bazaar – The wholesale oriental bazaar
where you can bargain till 50% of any product.

Visiting the Repressions park.

Day 22: Tashkent – Charwak

Breakfast at hotel.
Transfer to Charwak mountain enjoy in Chimgan hill, take a cable
car up to mountain. Dinner Overnight in Resort.

Day 23: Charwak – Tashkent

Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to Tashkent and farewell dinner in
restaurant with belly dance show performance.

Day 24: Tashkent -

Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to International airport.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations can be made free of charge up to 30 days prior to the beginning of the booked service. The deposit (10%) is only refundable if the booking is canceled at least 30 days in advance.
