Day 1: Kharkhorin
Kharkhorin is located in distance of 360 km away in the west of Ulaanbaatar, the ancient capital city of Mongol Empire founded by Ugudei Khaan who was successor of Chinggis Khaan in 1235. It had been political, economical and religious center of nomadic empire for decades until it was totally destroyed by Ming troops. In present day, there is modern town on the ruin of it. Only some part of destroyed city has been excavated and findings have been placed in the Kharkhorin museum. There is another attraction in that town for the visitors is Erdene zuu monastery. This is considered to be the oldest buddhist monastery in Mongolia established in 1586 by Avtai Sain khan.
Day 2: Tsenkher Hot Spring
Tsenkher Hot Spring is located 27km south of Tsetserleg soum, Arkhangai province. This is the second hottest spring in Mongolia. The water is 86o C where it directly emerges out. It has been used as a healing for some illnesses. Now it is one of the cool places to relax your body from the adventurous tour.
Day 3 to 4: Terkhiin Tsagaan Nuur
Terkhiin Tsagaan Nuur also called The White Lake of Terkh in English. This place is the highlight of the region and famous for its attractive scenery. It has been protected since 1965, to safeguard spectacular mountain scenery and endangered flora and fauna. The lake was originated by volcanic eruption around 8 thousand years ago, but there are some legends of creation of the lake have been told by locals for centuries. The lake extends on 16 km long and 4 to 10 km wide and its average depth is 20 meters. Pikes and Lenoks can commonly be found in the lake.
Khorgo Volcano Crater
This volcano crater is one of the main part of the national park. It is the youngest volcano in Mongolia which erupted 8000 years ago. Its crater measures 200 meters in diameter, 60 to 80 meters in depth and it is surrounded with small copses of trees. There are lots of caves nearby that were created by volcanic lava.
Day 5: Khugnu Khan Natural Reserve
This is a perfect place for having different feelings because there are various scenery in one place, such as, grassland where horseman herding flock of sheep, strip of sand dune where you can ride a camel over, and big mountains which have beautiful granite rock formations where you can do some hiking and climbing. You will get real interactions with true nomads.
Elsen Tasarkhai /The Semi Gobi/
Elsen tasarkhai is a part of the Mongol Els sand dunes, which stretchs along the Tuv, Uvurkhangai and Bulgan provinces. The area is surrounded by sand dunes, hills covered with rare bushes and a small forest near a river.
Together this presents a unique combination of Mongolian mountains, forests and Gobi-type landscape in one location. The area is populated by the Maral stag (elk), wolves, deer and fox. The Elsen Tasarhai literally means "an isolated torn-off piece of sand" and it is a small sequence of real desert in the midst of green steppes. It feels like in the Gobi Desert, and visitors can hike in the sand dunes.
Day 6: Khustai National Park and back to Ulaanbaatar
Khustai National Park is located 80 km, west of the capital. It's known as a wild horse, also named Przewalsky horse. Khustai is most famous one of three national parks where wild horses have been reintroduced after they were completely extinct in the wild. It has been protected area since the first 15 horses were reintroduced in 1. Today, there are about 350 horses in 19 herds. If you get there, you'll be able to see not only the horses but also, some wildlife such as, wolves, red foxes, deers and marmots. Some bird species can be spotted too.

For a confirmed booking, a deposit of (10%) is required. Deposit is paid by credit card (secure payment via Stripe, no credit card fees). The remaining balance can be paid in cash upon start of the trip - unless Host & Traveler agree on different payment methods.
Cancellations can be made free of charge up to 30 days prior to the beginning of the booked service. The deposit (10%) is only refundable if the booking is canceled at least 30 days in advance.
