Tour program
Day1. Arrival in Tashkent

Upon your arrival in Tashkent your driver/guide will be waiting for you at the main exit of the Tashkent International Airport and you will be transferred to your hotel. Time for having rest.

Day2. Sightseeing in Tashkent.

Breakfast. Today you will visit the main Silk Road Heritage monuments of Tashkent: Kastimam complex with its old mausoleums and mosques, Kukaldosh & Abulkasim madrasahs, Chorsu bazaar as well ans the place Mustakillik Maidoni and the memorial of the big political repression in Tashkent.

Overnight in Tashkent.

Day3. Transfer to Urgench/ Khiva by plane & sightseeing in Khiva.

Breakfast. Transfer to domestic airport of Tashkent for taking the morning flight Tashkent - Urgench (07:50). Arrival in Urgench (09:20) and transfer to Khiva (35km).

The Itchan Kala complex in Khiva is the forst place in Uzbekistan listed as UNESCO World Heritage site in 1990. Today you will have all your day to discover some of 250+ monuments of this amazing old citadel.

Overnight in Khiva.

Day4. Transfer from Khiva to Bukhara (450km) through the Red Desert – Kizilkum.

Breakfast. Live a very mythical day during your drive to Bukhara. You will cross the Red Desert - Kizilkum like the ancient caravans and you will have the possibility to enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of the Amu Darya river. Arrival in Bukhara by the end of the day. Free time.

Overnight in Bukhara.

Day5-6. Visits in Bukhara.

Breakfast. Enjoy 2 full days to explore the city of Bukhara. You will dedicate your first day to visit the monuments in the center of Bukhara: mausoleum of Samanids & Chashmai Ayyub, Bolo Khauz mosque, Ark citadel, Kalon complex, Lyabi Khauz ensemble and the second day you will visit the attractions outside the city center: Naqshbandi mausoleum (12km), Chor Bakr necropolis (8km) and the summer residence of the emirs of Bukhara (3km).

Overnight in Bukhara.

Day7. Transfer to Samarkand via Shakhrisabz (320km).

Breakfast. Drive to the hometown of Amir Temur - Tamerlane to visit the UNESCO World Heritage of the city: the ruins of the Ak Saray palace, Crypte of Tamerlane, Kok Gumbaz complex. After the visits you will continue the drive to Samarkand.

Arrival in Samarkand by the end of the day. Free time.

Overnight in Samarkand.

Day8. Visits in Samarkand

Breakfast. This day is possibly the most wonderful part of your Uzbekistan UNESCO Heritage trip. As the most renowned city of Central Asia Samarkand offers some wonderful and rich visits to its visitors. Today you will visit:the Registan place with its three magnificent madrasas, Bibi Khanum mosque, Shakhi Zinda necropolis and the Gur-emir mausoleum.

Overnight in Samarkand.

Day9. Continuation of visits in Samarkand

In the afternoon transfer from Samarkand to Tashkent by High Speed Train.

Breakfast. Continuation of the visits in Samarkand: Afrosiab museum and archaeological site, Sain Daniel mausoleum, the Observatory of Ulugh Beg and Samarkand Silk Paper workshop.

At 16:00 you will be transferred to the train station for taking high speed train Samarkand - Tashkent train (17:00). Arrival in Tashkent (19:20) and transfer to the hotel.

Overnight in Tashkent.

Day10. Departure from Tashkent

Transfer to the International Airport of Tashkent.

For a confirmed booking, a deposit of (10%) is required. Deposit is paid by credit card (secure payment via Stripe, no credit card fees). The remaining balance can be paid in cash upon start of the trip - unless Host & Traveler agree on different payment methods.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations can be made free of charge up to 30 days prior to the beginning of the booked service. The deposit (10%) is only refundable if the booking is canceled at least 30 days in advance.
