The cave of Hazrat David (St. David) is believed to fulfill any, even most incredible desires. It is located at the h about 1250 metres,at the bottom of the western spur of the Turkestan and Zarafshan ridges,a rocky wedge pressing in the Qarshi steppe. To get to it you need to mount 1303 steps, plunging up to the mountain peak where the splendid scenery opens to the surrounded mountains. There , at the top,one can see tiny mosque. Then it is needed to go down 200 steps to the cave of Hazrat Daud. The cave is a dark tunnel where one can see Davids handprints and footprints at its end.To make a wish one should touch them.
Not every pilgrim is able to climb up about 2000 steps. Therefore the locals offer a donkey or horse which makes your journey to climb the mountain more fun.
