Korgalzhyn is chain of lakes amont dry lands of Central Kazakhstan.
This is excellend stopover for birds of passage. Birds migrating from Siberia to Africa or India stay here for a summer to grow their chicks.
In total more than 50 millions of birds of 155 breeds live here in warm season, most notably, flamingoes, pelicans, swans, storks, cranes, herons.
There are a lot of eagles here as well as small mammals like groundsquirrel, marmoth etc.
Despite quite poor infrastructure (to be honest), the trip is very interesting.
