One day tour to Burana Tower and Issyk-Ata Gorge
Burana Tower in Chuy Valley, near the town of Tokmok, wich established by the Karakhanids at the and of 9th centure.
• 08.00 am Departure from Bishkek city. Transfer to Tokmok town and further to Burana Tower.
• 10:30 Arrival to the place. Excursion to the museum and Burana Tower (X c.), sightseeing tour of the remains of once magnificent masoleums (X-XI c.) - stone tombs of powerful governers of the city. Visiting of the museum of ancient city Balasagyn under the open sky, where you'll see testimonies of stormy life of multiple nations and people of different doctrines, cultures and beliefs, gathered here from all Chue valley.
12:00-12:30. The next destination of our tripe is Issyk-Ata George
Issyk-Ata is translated to hot father and it’s a place where you can see a soviet sanatorium and within a very large gorge with a calming waterfall and can swim in hot Radon water pool, visit a stone of Buddha.
Once we arrive in Issy-Ata Gorge we will have a walk through the sanatorium to get close to the local culture. There we will have lunch in a Kyrgyz Yurt traditional food. It’s possible to have a short swim in the hot spring pool where you can be healed from any illness according to the locals. Than take an easy 2-3 hour hike to the Issyk-Ata Gorge Waterfall. The waterfall is 3-4 meters.
18.00-19.00 pm. We will drive though the country side to the village of Kant. We can have a dinner in traditional Kyrgyz dinner at a café in Bishkek.
For a confirmed booking, a deposit of (10%) is required. Deposit is paid by credit card (secure payment via Stripe, no credit card fees). The remaining balance can be paid in cash upon start of the trip - unless Host & Traveler agree on different payment methods.
Cancellations can be made free of charge up to 30 days prior to the beginning of the booked service. The deposit (10%) is only refundable if the booking is canceled at least 30 days in advance.
