Trip around South Kazakhstan: Shymkent - Sairam - Sauran - Karnak village - Turkestan - Shayan - Aksu canyon
Day 1. Arrival to Shymkent
Meeting at airport or hotel. Excursion tour around Shymkent and Sairam. Drive out to see new park of Kazyna included biggest statue of Kazakh patron Baidibek, Nuaryz plaza, city lake, sculptural composition of trading caravan, zoo, high playground overlooking the new city center. Visit of historical museum.
Departure to east part of the regional city to see the center of ancient town Sairam dating back to deep antiquity. Review medieval mausoleums devoted to most spiritual persons of glorious trading entrepot as portal domed structures by saint’s parents Ibrahim ata and Karashash ana, charnel house of Arab standard bearer Abd Al Aziz Bab, burial chamber of Mir Ali Bab who was the ruler of medieval town, the vault of town magistrate Baizavi, ruins most ancient mosque of Kazakhstan and single minaret of prophet Hyzr.
Lunch in traditional Sairam teahouse.
Dinner in restaurant of typical Central Asian cuisine Karavan in Shymkent. Lodging for the night in hotel Dostyk
Day 2. Trip to ancient sites as Sauran, Turkestan and Karnak
Arrival to ancient site Sauran. Visitation ruins of medieval town Sauran with best well preserved fortress wall, central plaza, remnants of theological university and mosque, residues of mint and first Kazakh treasury. Turnout to Karnak village place preparation one of the biggest metal vessel in the world. Overview unique medieval Sufi mosque with subterranean cell and well preserved old-fashioned theological college. Continuation of inspection the oldest giant mulberry tree in Kazakhstan by age 1000 years old. Picnick on the bank of the river Ermeksu.
Departure to Turkestan. In the city we are inspecting masterpiece of Timurid architecture the mausoleum of Sufi sage Hodja Ahmad Yassavi. Next one semi-underground construction/mosque for 40 days of privacy and soltitude. Mausoleum of Rabiya Sultan Begim which was the granddaughter of genial emir Timur. Ruinous mausoleum of the Kazakh sultan Esim khan who was founder Kazakh capital in Turkestan. Next objects are Friday mosque dating to 1878 and underground Sufi abode with belowground catacomb of famous Sufi hermit Yassavi. Partially restored fragment of fortress wall with town gates of Darbaza. Last structure is public house of Hamam. Return to Shymkent.
Day 3. Tour to district center Shayan to see the medieval madrasah with educational center and mosque in Arabic style. Further trip to the most gigantic cave Holy White Mosque with underground mulberry grove. On the way back we will inspect rebuild maternal mausoleum of Holy Kazakh mother the Domalak ana with head spring located on the bank of river Bala Bugun. Picnic. Return to Shymkent.
Day 4. Journey to the deepest canyon Aksu in Central Asia and Kazakhstan.
Arrival at the place. Initially inspection of the narrow part of the canyon enables to go from one side to another one. Visit of the cave. Further we move along the canyon to the next stop. Walk in the fresh air for memorable impressions. Picnic. And continuation movement for last stop for survey manual bridge Syrlybai. Descent to the bottom of the canyon for admiration of mountainous river Aksu with turquoise pigment and creek with swimming logs. Dipping into the river creek. Resting. Comeback to hotel.

Cancellations can be made free of charge up to 30 days prior to the beginning of the booked service. The deposit (10%) is only refundable if the booking is canceled at least 30 days in advance.
