This adventure starts from Sokuluk gorge, 70 km west from Bishkek, better known as Belogorka gorge. At summer time lots of waterfalls runs down from sidewalls of gorge. The most famous is 60 meters high waterfall which situated in 1 hour walk from car. It is interesting that water flow almost does not reach ground surface and brakes into small droplets. Trek runs up gorge through wild bushes and flower meadows. There is hawthorn, wild currant, barberry, rosehip, and even strawberries grow here.
Further we walk through Ozyorniy pass (3900m) to Ala-Archa gorge. Picturesque view on surrounding areas opens from the pass. Then we descent from pass and following along streambed trek down to Ala-Archa gorge. After trek goes along old dirt road to alpine base camp. In USSR time there were car road to upper Ala-Archa gorge to ski base. Present time ski base doesn’t work and road in bad condition.
Third gorge of trek is Ak-Sai gorge. During the way we cross Sharkiratma river (Waterfall river) and visit Ak-Sai waterfall. Then we will walk up to Ratcek stays. Here opens great view on glacier and peaks. This area is truly considered as a Mecca of mountaineering. You can find lots of mountaineering routes of different difficulties. We will make ascent to Uchitel’ peak (4540m). Usually way back takes 5 – 7 hours and you don’t need any special equipment.
After visiting Ak-Sai gorge we walk down to Ala-Archa base camp and drive back to Bishkek.
Day 1. Meeting group. Transfer from Bishkek to Sokuluk gorge (app.75 km, 1,5 hour). Setting up camp. Radial acclimatization walk up Ashu-Tor gorge. Overnight in tents.
Day 2. Trek up Sokuluk gorge to confluence of the Chon-Tor and Eastern Sokuluk streams. Camp altitude 3200m. Overnight in Tent Camp.
Day 3. Trek from the Sokuluk gorge to Ala-Archa over the Ozernyi Pass (3917m). Camp altitude 2920m. Overnight in Tent Camp.
Day 4. Trek down the Ala-Archa gorge to alpine camp (2200m). Overnight in Tent Camp.
Day 5. Trek up to ‘Ratsek stop’ (3200m). Overnight in the Ak-Sai Mountain Hut.
Day 6. Ascent to Uchitel’ peak (4540m) F grade route, you don’t need special climbing gear. Great view on surrounding summits opens from the top. Overnight in the Ak-Sai Mountain Hut.
Day 7. Descent to Ala-Archa alpine camp and transfer to Bishkek.
This program is for those people, who like to travel without big team of service staff as porters or cook. It allows you to be closer to the nature and feel the real taste of wild life. However you can always take porters for carrying your luggage or cook.

* Notes: It is expected that clients will cook for themselves. Cook services can be provided at extra cost.
Price not include:
1. Porters to carry tents, kitchen utensils, personal belongings – USD 290 per porter per program. Each porter carries 20kg of commercial weight. Any additional weight in excess of this will be charged at a rate of USD 3 per 1kg.

Tourists must have a medical insurance policy with coverage of USD 30 000 per person.
