23/AUG~ Day 1. Arrival at the Chinggis Khan Airport Welcome to Meet Our Team / Travel to Semi Gobi Desert
Arrival in Ulaanbaatar, tour guide and local driver will greet you at the Chinggis Khaan Airport, we will start our first day trip driving to Semi Gobi Desert, local name call Elsen Tasarkhan, a unique combination of Gobi sand dunes, and beautiful mountains. You will have an opportunity around the mountains and ride a camel on the small sand dunes. Overnight will stay at a nomadic family in Ger.
24/AUG~ Day 2. Traveling from Central straight up North / On the way Explore Ancient Capital of Kharkhorin
After morning breakfast, we will set off again by 4WD and heading to the north direction to the Khuvsgul province. On the way we will visit the Erdene Zuu Monastery in Kharkhorin, which was the ancient capital city of Mongolia in the 13th century for about 30 years, located in northwestern part of Uvurkhangai province. The Erdene Zuu monastery is the oldest surviving Buddhist monastery in mongolia, it was built in 1586 by Abtai Sain Khan. However, after the fall of communism in Mongolia in 1990, the monastery was turned over to the lamas again and became a place of worship. After an excursion in town, continue to drive to the destination. rOvernight will spend an open air in tent.
25/AUG~ Day 3. Drive to Murun town / Obtain our Border Petrol Permit for Reindeer Community
After morning breakfast, we start our full day driving to Murun town, entering into the grassland, greatest forest mountain area, enjoy the mountain pass scenery. On the way we will stop for lunch and continue to drive to Murun town. This town we will to get our border petrol permit from administration unit for visiting Reindeer Community further up in the north. Overnight will stay at guesthouse in town.
26/AUG~ Day 4. Travel to Tsagaannuur village / Stay with Nomadic Herder Family
After morning breakfast, we will to drive to Tsagaannuur village. During your driving view is most magnificent. Upon your arrival our local horse specialist guides will welcome and greet you. Overnight will stay at nomadic herder family in wooden house.
27/AUG~ Day 5. Start Horse Trek to Taiga Forest
After morning breakfast, Kharmain Gol is our starting point of the horse trek and we will meet our local horse guide. You will be brief instruction for riding by the local horse guides about the Mongolian horses and the rules. Due to the marshy road condition we will not use vehicles to reach the area, entire our luggage and food supply will be transported by packing horses. Then start and trekking to West Taiga, the area where part of Reindeer communities live. Overnight will spend on the way an open air in a tent.
28,29/AUG~ Day 6,7. Continue Horse Trek far inside Taiga / Explore Mysterious Reindeer Nomads
After morning breakfast, we will continue our full day horse trek deep into the Taiga where the area is energetic and mysterious Reindeer Nomads. Reaching Menge Bulag river area where Reindeer Nomads are living. These days we will stay among Reindeer Nomads and will experience everyday life and unique tradition of them. Our activities include attending shaman ritual (if there any opportunity), riding and milking reindeers, processing milk products, talking with people and learning local culture. Overnight will spend in teepee (Reindeer Nomads dwelling home) and spend an open air in a tent.
30/AUG~ Day 8. Leave Reindeer Nomads
After enjoying with Reindeer Nomads we will leave and ride back from river Menge Bulag area and will have a full day trip ride back to our next camping spot. On the way riding through picturesque forested mountain and valley. All riders will follow a same trail along as we did before when coming to Western Taiga. Overnight will spend on the way open air in a tent.
31/AUG~ Day 9. Continue Horse Trek to Kharmain Gol
Today we continue ride back to Khairmain Gol where live our local horse guide family. During our horse trek will go through another route along picturesque forested mountain and valley. On the way we will cross the mountain pass. Our vehicle and driver will be waiting for us in the Kharmain Gol. Overnight will stay at nomadic herder family in wooden house.
01/SEP~ Day 10. Travel to Mountain Valley
After relaxing morning breakfast at the nomadic herder family, we continue our trip direction to the Lake Khuvsul. On the way we will reach to the mountain valley and come to our campsite. Overnight will spend in a tent near the beautiful mountain valley.
02/SEP~ Day 11. Reaching to Lake Khuvsgul
After morning breakfast, we will drive to the Lake Khuvsgul. We will continue our picturesque journey drive to Lake Khovsgol, second largest freshwater lake in the Central Asia with over one percent of the world’s freshwater and maximum depth of 262m. Overnight will stay at nomadic yak herder family in Ger.
03/SEP~ Day 12. Free Leisure Day
After relaxing morning breakfast, enjoy and walking along the shore of lake. Evening enjoy with Mongolian barbeque! This is going to be made in real traditional way as the meat dish is grilled with super hot stones and has a unique taste. Overnight will stay at the same nomadic yak herder family in Ger.
04/SEP~ Day 13. Drive Uran Togoo Volcano Mountain
After early morning breakfast we will drive a full day trip to Uran Togoo and hiking to the one of the oldest Volcano Mountain. Up there we will have a stunning view. Overnight will spend an open air in a tent.
05/SEP~ Day 14. Travel to Amart Monastery
After relaxing morning breakfast at our camping spot we will drive to Amart monastery. Amart, one of the most well-known and largest of Mongolia, is located in the beautiful Iven Gol River valley. The beauty, decorations and construction of the monastery have made it one of the most magnificent architectural monuments not only in Mongolia. The monastery was established by order of Manju emperor Enkh-Amgalan Khan, to cherish and give respect to the Undur Gegeen Zanabazar, his skills, wisdom, intellect and accomplishments. Overnight will stay at a nomadic family in Ger.
06/SEP~ Day 15. Drive Back to Ulaanbaatar
After morning breakfast, we will drive back to Ulaanbaatar and on the way enjoy our lunch. Transfer to your hotel in Ulaanbaatar.
08/SEP~ Departure Day!
We will pick you up from your hotel and transfer to the Chinggis Khaan Airport, ending our memorable journey.

Cancellations can be made free of charge up to 30 days prior to the beginning of the booked service. The deposit (10%) is only refundable if the booking is canceled at least 30 days in advance.
