4 Days trip to Tajikistan.

Tour discription:

Day 1. Welcome to Tajikistan, transfer to hotel,wake up & breakfast at 8:30, Hissar fort: driving towards hissar region, Hissar fort is most popular visited outside of Dushanbe, because easy to reach and it will tells history of tajik people during the feodalizm time, when it was harsh time for the whole region of the Centrak Asia, Hisaris 40 km(30min mux) visit the fort, it still preserved, Carvansarai, which is 20 steps from the fort, next to fort there are still old Madrasa (religious school), preserved until todays, local musums of different period of the history of the country all in all it will takes 2 hrs muximum. After Hissar-Driving towards south- Nurek, (Symble of the Sovie town), 1,25min drive-60km, the road is paved, getthing through Vahfat town, then getting to the junctions of the town, where you have the beautiful views of the Vakhsh river, getting towards the outskirt of town where small village is located, start hiking along the Nurek lake getting towards Wakhsh river hike along the river, the trail is very pleasant for hiking, lunch next to the Nurek lake or somewhere in local (coffeteria) after lunch walk further towards, local Bazar (market),taking photos getting towards the town, sightseeing around town. In the town, there are lot of soviets monuments which is symbolizing the Greatest of the Soviet Union. hours, return to Dushanbe. B,L&D. After dinner check local night scene.)

 

 

Day 2, Dushanbe- Yaghnob valley (Margheb)

Driving towards Varzob valley, Varzob is place for vocation for the people of Dushanbe, getting through Varzob towards Zarafshan mountains, after Pamir it is the second highest mountains rainge in Tajikistan. Passsing several tunnels, the longest tunnel is Anzob, before entering the tunnel, from the top is beautiful views of the areas, hanging glacier on the mountains, full of snow around and after tunell, there are junction in the Yagnob river, where we will take detour towards the famous Yagnob valley, driving along river passing by some villages, the areas is isolated from the main road, the culture & hisstory of this region is rich, the language that these people speak is the language that were spoken during Alexander Great times, Unfortunalty during repressen by Communism in 1930th many people of these valley were forced to move to lower areas from their historical land due to collectivazations & because of that their populations decreased.Getting to the village meet the local people, get familiar with their lifestyle. Hiking around the village, visit school if you interested, getting to viw point, takan photos. Overnight in homestay.

 

Day 3 Yaghnob-Iskandarkul (Alexander lake).

Breakfast at 07:30, leaving Yagnob-Magrib towards, Anzob village for some stunning views on the way. Drive further down towards Iskandarkul, Iskanderkul (Alexander the Great lake). Little known & rarely visited Fann mountains form part of the Pamir Range tucked away in the northwest Tajikistan. The majestic, biggest lake called Lake Alexander, Iskanderkul is located at altitude of 2200mtrs. It is a pure gem of surrounding snowy peaks reflecting in calm mirrored surface. You may have difficulty to describe its color, from green to turquoise, blue to dark-purple, it changes together with the season time of the day.

 

We will take a 2-3 hrs hike to the waterfall, Snake Lake, looking out at the president’s dacha on the other side of the lake, passing the village of Sarytaq and Kaznok valley, we get familiarized with local life style and customs. There are plenty of springs nearby, most popular local wildlife are marmots.

short hiking for the snake lake and massive waterfall called Niagara maximum 1 hr, (in winter time the waterfall might not be so impressive but the surrounding is indeed really fantastic), lunch in Saratoq exploration of it’s spectacular surroundings. Overnight in Saratoq. 

 

Day 4.Saratoq-Iskanderkul-Dushanbe

Having breakfast return to Dushanbe, 3 &half hrs drive, lunch and explore dushanbe, Dushanbe is Tajikistan’s capital city, located in the hissar mountain rainge, it is also by far the largest city in Tajikistan, with a population of over 1 million. Spend a day checking out the majoy sights in Dushanbe including National ethography musums, a local bazar, and the biggest tea house in the world. Luckly most of the destinations are located in the Rudaki & Somoni prospect, weather it is theater, national musums, soviet sinemas, buildings with mosaics or sport compex,and etc,

There many cutrural. educational & hisotical places but we will visit those place which are iconic & highlight to locals and we will follow their trails.

For a confirmed booking, a deposit of (10%) is required. Deposit is paid by credit card (secure payment via Stripe, no credit card fees). The remaining balance can be paid in cash upon start of the trip - unless Host & Traveler agree on different payment methods.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations can be made free of charge up to 30 days prior to the beginning of the booked service. The deposit (10%) is only refundable if the booking is canceled at least 30 days in advance.
