Qulma pass is open for tourists now. way along difficult mountain roads and high passes, in the shadow of some of the highest mountains on our planet.

We visit ruined forts from the days of the old Silk Road,and pass gem mines mentioned by .Spending nights in yurts stays and home stays in small communities, we are able to gain a great insight into what it means to live in this harsh but majestic region.

Day1 We will start from Qulma pass 4363m 148km 4/5hours of drive

Transfer from Qulma pass to Murghab towards Sarykol range mountains.overnight in Filura homestay.meals BLD

Day2 Murghab to Karakul lake3914m 130km 4/5hours of drive north over Akbaital pass, 4655m.

The highest lake in Central Asia. walk around the lake.overnight in Karakul village homestay.meals BLD

Day3 Karakul to Gartygumbez hot spring 280km 7/8hours of drive with stop.

Today we will explore East Pamir.have lunch in Murghab than continue to Meteorite crater and Observatory viwe point.on the way we vizit Shakhty rock paintings4200m.three very similar figures are placed underneathb the last animal.this representation has been compared to the so called clavicorn figures of Paleolithic art.it dates 8000-5000B.C.overnght in Gartygumbez hot spring at Kuban homestay.meals BLD

Day4 Gartygumbez to Kengshiber145km 6/7hours of drive with stop

Today we will drive to spectacular beautiful Zorkul lake 4135m site.on the way we can see Nomads yurt and we have lunch there.after drive to Keng shiber high summer pasture 4180m overnight in yurtstay or homestay.meals BLD

Day5 Kengshiber to Bulungkul 100km 4/5hours of drive

on the way we drive to Bashgumbez village there we will see old  China's tomb then on the way stop for Akbalyk holy lake.in Alichor have a lunch.after vizit of a Geyser.Landscape of the both lakes Yashilkul3700m and Bulungkul3720 are magnificent.overnight in Bulungkul in homestay.meals BLD

Day6 Bulungkul to Langar 135km 6/7hours of drive

today we will drive to Wakhan corrodor direction we will cross Khargush pass4300m.on the way for a scenic picnic.today we will climb up 400m above Langar village to see the petroglyphs.overnught in homstay.meals BLD

Day7 Langar to Ishkashim124km 6/7hours of drive

We will drive to Vrang village above the village of Vrang,on a cliff side pitted with caves,stands a Buddhist complex dating from 4th-7th centuries then at Yamg village vizit the reconstructed home of Sufi mystic Mubarak Kadam,who died in 1910.near his house there is a stone pillar with a hole in it which he used to calculate a solar calendar.after we will drive up to hillside are the hot springs at Bibi Fatima:minerals and very silty the water at Bibi Fatima is crystal clear.we will stop for having lunch.on the way stop for Zoroastrian "Fortress of Fire Worshipper.futher drive  to the interesting Ismaili Mazar tomb of Shahi Mardan Hazraty Ali.overnight in Hanis guesthouse.meals BLD

Day8 Ishkashim to Bartang Jizev valley 189km 7/8hours of drive

Today we will drive to Bartang Jizev valley there we will wolk up to beautiful Jizev lake2900m.Jizev 5km from bridge easy wolk 2and half hours of wolk.on the way to Bartang we willl stop for Garm Chashma hot spring.in Khorog haveing lunch.overnight in Jizevi in Gulsha homestay.meals BLD

Day9 Jizev to Kalaikum 228km 7/8hours of drive

Today we will wolk down to the bridge there will meet for us our driver.than we continue our trip along Panj river.on the way we will see many different villages.stop for lunch in tea house.overnight in Roma homestay in Kalaikum.meals BLD

Day10 Kalaikum to Dushanbe 360km 7/8hours of drive

today we will drive to the capital of Tajikistan Dushanbe.Dushanbe is relatively modern town that rose to prominence during  the Soviet era,when it was made  the Capital of the Tajik Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republulic and named Stalinabad.its name means Monday in the Tajik language,arising from the fact that this was the day that the market was held when Dushanbe was still a small and fairly insignificant village.the ousted Emir of Bukhara.feeling from the Bolsheviks,stayed in Dushanbe and cooperated with Enver Pasha's Basmachis until he had to leave the region.from Dushanbe,he fled to Afganistan in 1921.the year the town was freed from the Basmachis as well.overnight in Mahbuba guesthouse.meals BD

Payment Method

For a confirmed booking, a deposit of (10%) is required. Deposit is paid by credit card (secure payment via Stripe, no credit card fees). The remaining balance can be paid in cash upon start of the trip - unless Host & Traveler agree on different payment methods.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations can be made free of charge up to 30 days prior to the beginning of the booked service. The deposit (10%) is only refundable if the booking is canceled at least 30 days in advance.
