Adegyne glacier is in a less known valley of Ala Archa National Park - it is a wilder and calmer hike. The glacier is situated at 3600 m high and surrounded by beautiful peaks. There is a glacier lake and a small weather station where two men live in permanence to check the level of the lake. If they're in the station we can go meet them and they will tell you about climate change and wilderness.
The starting point of our hike is at 1900m, and the total distance to the glacier is 19km.
Day 1 We will leave Bishkek in the morning and hike up to set camp half-way. On the way we will go through a beautiful forest where there is a memorial for alpinists.
Day 2 We will take just a small backpack and hike up to the glacier and back to the camp in one day.
Day 3 We will go back to Bishkek.
I have an extra tent for 2 and can help you rent equipment if necessary.
The price includes transportation, entrance fees, guiding services and all meals during the trek.
