ITINERARY:

 DAY 1. Bishkek – Ala-Archa National Park (~ 40km, 1 hours) - Chunkurchak ski resort - Ethno-restaurant Supara Chunkurchak - Tar Suu gorge (Chon Kemin valley) -Cholpon Ata - Bishkek

-Walking in Ala Archa park along asphalt road and enjoy the nature

-Skiing in Chunkurchak ski resort or if you cannot ski, than go sledding on a special funny tires

-Having hot tea/coffee on open air with snacks

-Having dinner at Kyrgyz ethno-estaurant "Supara Chunkurchak"

Meals: lunch as a picnic, dinner in ethno-restaurant Supara Chunkurchak

DAY 2. Bishkek - Burana Tower (~86 km) - Tar-Suu village (~88km)

-On our way, we will visit Burana tower, a 11th century minaret which is one of Kyrgyzstan’s best known archaeological sites.

-After arriving to guesthouse we will go riding for several hours.

Accommodation: 2-bed rooms, bathroom is inside of rooms, Wi-Fi, no signal for phoning

Meals: lunch and dinner

Altitude of Tar-Suu gorge: 1800m

DAY 3. Tar Suu gorge - Museum of civilization - Open-air museum of petroglyphs - Cholpon-Ata (162km/3h)

- Visiting museum of civilization where I will tell about our traditional cloth, outstanding people and history;

-Visiting open-air museum of Petroglyphs located just outside the city center of Cholpon-Ata. These petroglyphs date from the 2nd millennium BC up to the 4th century AD.

-Boating on a small boat on Issyk Kul lake to enjoy our pearl of Kyrgyzstan

-We will have a nice relax in the guesthouse or near the shore of the lake.

Accommodation:  guest house, twins room or room with king-sized bed ( bathroom and Wi-Fi)

What to bring: 1. Rain-coat 2. Sweater/fleece 3. Wind-stopper 4. Enough t-shirts and other underwear (think of taking smth with long sleeves to avoid sunburns) 5. Hat (remember – the sun can be violent) 6. Sun-screen cream (30 or higher) 7. Insect repellent (skin + clothes) 8. Good trekking boots for easy hikes in the mountains. 9. Walking shoes (don’t need heavy ones) for the mountainous area walks 10. Personal first aid kit (most likely problems: blisters, sunburns, allergy, diarrhoea, sore muscles after hikes. Take painkillers, anti-histaminic, antibiotics of general action, and anything you need for your usual medical conditions). 11. Personal hygiene kit (disinfection gel is highly recommended) + some toilet paper. 12. Swimming suit (for Issyk-Kul) 13. A smaller backpack, except for your normal suitcase. 14. Flash light (torch) 15. Walking poles if needed 16. Money exchange – if you plan to exchange dollars /евро/ to KGS, we recommend to take the notes of 50, 100 USD without stamps, inscriptions and other any damage, because damaged banknotes are not accepted by banks and exchange offices.
