Khorgo Volcano

In the territory of Tariat soum, Arkhangai province 180 kilometer from tsetserleg city in the late volcanic eruption on the side of Terkhiin white lake 8000 meters away. 2210 meters above the sea, The Khorgo (Mongolian: Хорго) is a volcano in the Tariat-Chulut volcanic field in the Tariat district in the Arkhangai Province of Mongolia. The Khorgo lies east of the lake Terkhiin Tsagaan Nuur and together they are the core of the Khorgo-Terkhiin Tsagaan Nuur National Park. A notable geological feature are solidified lava bubbles, which the locals have named "basalt. Ares and leaves are covered with freshly cedar forests and are abundant in flowers.

Terkhiin Tsagaan Lake also known as White Lake is a lake in the Khangai Mountains in central Mongolia. The Khorgo volcano is located near the eastern end of the lake and the Suman River springs from lake. In the lake, black goose comes in more than 5 meters deep and dives fish. The Terkhiin white lake is a very fresh air. Visitors are one of most beautiful natural attractions. In addition to natural wildlife can be seen.

Day 1 Ulaanbaatar-City tour B.L.D

Arrive in Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia. You'll be greeted at the airport and escorted to 4* hotel. Take a city tour to Gandan Monastery where you will see huge gold plated Buddha, a symbol of Mongolian national pride and cultural revival and visit National Museum of Mongolian History, where you will see artifacts from Mongolia and Central Asia from the Stone Age to the present. Excursion to Zaisan Hill War Memorial to get your bearings with a panoramic view of the whole city. Overnight in the hotel. 

Day 2 Ulaanbaatar- Chinggis khan statue-Hustai National park B.L. D

After breakfast, drive to Giant Chinggis Khaan statue. The statues in total is 40m high and see as far sighted Chinggis Khaan holds a golden whip in his right hand. Tour to Terelj National park. The Terelj National Park incorporates parts of Khentii Mountain Range. You'll explore the extra ordinary formation of rocks and stones; some of them look quite similar to turtles and horse riding and then  drive to Hustai National Park and see Takhi, the Asian wild horse. If you have a chance, see wolf, argali sheep and deer. Enjoy small hiking and photographing the charming landscape and wildlife. Visit Takhi's small museum and overnight in tourist camp.

Day 3 Kharkhorum city B.L. D

After breakfast at the tourist camp, drive to Kharkorum, the symbolic ruins of the 13th century capital of the Mongol Empire. On the way, you will see statue Tsaidam, a Turkic inscribed monument of the Turkic State (6th - 8th Centuries A.D). Visit  Erdene-Zuu, the oldest monastery, with 108 stupas, built in 1586. Then visit Kharkhorum museum and see the Great Mongolia state period, Stone Age, Bronze Age, Ancient state period halls.Overnight in tourist camp.

Day 4 Red Waterfall- Tsenkher hot mineral water   .B.L. D

The Red River Falls is one of the major tourist destinations of Mongolia. Take a trip to the hot mineral water, and see the red flowing river.  Tibetan Monastery, one of Mongolia’s oldest Buddhist monasteries, is located on the border of Tibetan Province and Arkhangai Province in central Mongolia, approximately 47 kilometers southwest of Kharkhorin. Overnight in tourist camp.

Day 5 The Terkh white lake      B.L.D

∣         Visit to Tsetserleg, the center of Arkhangai aimag.

∣         Taikhar stones, Chuluut  gorges, reach the hull.

∣         Go down to the shores of the White Lake.

Terkhiin Tsagaan Lake also known as White Lake is a lake in the Khangai Mountains in central Mongolia. The Khorgo volcano is located near the eastern end of the lake and the Suman River springs from lake. This trip will take you to the rocks and stones. Tourist will come to the lake and we will eat dinner.

Day 6.    Ogii lake    B.L.D

Ogii Lake is a freshwater lake in eastern Arkhangai, in central Mongolia. The lake, designated as a Ramsar Site of International Importance, is known for its fish and for birdlife. A variety of activities such as swimming, sunbathing,  fishing, boat rides. Its 1337 meters above sea level and belongs to the Arctic Ocean basin. Ogii lake is fed from the west to old Orhkon water and drains from the north to the Pole river and into to Orkhon river. Its time to spend a lot of time in the tourist camp. Have dinner at ease.

Day 7  Back to Ulaanbaatar and city tour options   B.L. D

Drive back to Ulaanbaatar. Visit Bogd Khan Palace, which is a series of beautiful traditional buildings, where the last religious King of Mongolia resided. You may choose an optional city tour where you will be taken to souvenir and cashmere shops before enjoying an evening concert of National Folklore. Overnight at the culture of relaxing center.

Day 8 Back

You will be transferred from your relaxing center to the airport.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations can be made free of charge up to 30 days prior to the beginning of the booked service. The deposit (10%) is only refundable if the booking is canceled at least 30 days in advance.
