DISCOVER UZBEKISTAN 13 DAYS

 

 

Itinerary: Tashkent - Mountain - Samarkand- CBT - Tashkent

Duration: 13 days / 12 nights.

Best period: All over the year.  

 

Day 1: (…. – Tashkent)

Arrival in Tashkent. You will be met by AST driver and transferred to the hotel. Rest at the hotel after arrival.  Free time. Tour discussion.

 

Day 2: (Tashkent – Parkentsay) Active tour part.

Early departure from Tashkent to Parkentsay valley (L=60km; T=1h. 20m). We start our trekking from Solar Institute (H=1050m) toward to Surenata ridge. Lunch near the shepherd’s shelter. After rest ascent to main ridge. We keep walking on the top of the ridge. Nice panorama!!! Close to Gidjal village we put our 1st day camping (L=11 km; T=6h)

Day 3: (Gidjal – Aksakata)

After breakfast we keep walking on the ridge. After 2 hours we reach to panoramic peak Surenata (H=2000m) where you can see Karjantau border ridges, Chimgan and Kumbel mountains and Aksakata valey. Then lunch on the top.  After rest we walk down to Aksakata river (=1150m) close to 1000 year old tree where we camp for the 2nd night. ( L=10km; T=5,5h)

Day 4: (Aksakata – Chet Kumbel)

 In the morning we start our hiking to Marble line side and we cross the bridge and reach to the array of Nurekata and Aksakata rivers where you can find hundreds of giant shell fossils and colorful stones where we have lunch and rest.   After delicious picnic we keep walking through the valley Nurekata. Close to ChetKumbel (H=1830m), we finish the third day of our trekking. Overnight in the tent (L=12km; T=6h)

Day 5: (Chet Kumbel – Aksai)

 Having had big breakfast, we move toward to ChetKumbel then decent to Beldersay valley  through  Urta Kumbel(H=1830m) reach to the marble river (H=1750m). And move to the upper river and climb to the pass Takhtajaylou (H = 2000m) Then walk down and go to river Aksai, to the slope arrays of Big Chimgan where we camp for the 4th night (H = 1750m).

Day 6: (Aksai – Charvak – Tashkent)

In the morning we move along the crest of the ridge through the undulating red cliff (Kyzyljar) (H-1860) Lunch at the local shepherd summer pasture. Whole day in our last day trekking we keep walking on the top of ridges, so today is quite panoramic. After several hours walk we reach to the peak “ last” where you can see Charvak lake , then we rest and  walk down to the hotel Chorvak Oromgohi (H = 950m; L=12km; T=6h) where we meet with our driver. Return to Tashkent (L = 100 km; T = 1 hour 30 minutes). Check in the hotel. Rest. Dinner.

Note: In case of bad weather guides reserve the right to change the route.

Day 7: (Tashkent)

Early breakfast at the hotel. We start our tour from Tashkent metro (the oldest one in Central Asia) then we visit to Amir Timur Square, Independence Square and Applied Arts Museum After that we visit to old city part of Tashkent to local Chorsu - oriental market (handicraft bazaar) where we have lunch . After rest we continue our tour to Khast-Imam’s famous mosques like Tillya-Sheykh Mosque, Madrasah of Barak-Khan, and Mausoleum of the Saint Abu Bakr Kaffal Shashi   . Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight in Tashkent. 

Day 8: (Tashkent – Samarkand)

After breakfast we transfer to the railway station at 07:00 am. Departure to Samarkand at 08:00  “Afrasiab” (300 km) and arrive in Samarkand at 10:10 am. You will be met by AST guide and driver.  We start our Samarkand tour by visiting to Shahi-Zinda necropolis, Siyab Bazar and Bibi Khanum mosque. Lunch at local chayxana. After rest we visit to Gur-Emir Mausoleum, Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at the hotel. 

Day 9: After breakfast we meet with guide in the lobby of the hotel at 8.30 am and walk to Registan Square ( including Sherdor , Ulugbek and Tillakori Madrasahs where we spend 2,5 hours) Lunch in Siyab bazar. After rest we continue our tour to the mausoleum of Khazrati Khizir and then drive to  Ulugbek observatory. Dinner at local chayxana. Overnight in Samarkand.

 

Day 10: (Samarkand – Ukhum guest house) CBT (Community Based Tours)

Early departure from Samarkand. We drive to mountain village Ukhum/Hayat (L=210 km) through Djizakh city. Accommodation in guest house. After rest we start our hiking to mountain Karaul (H=900m) and walk in village where you will have chance to see traditions of  local Tadjik people like ; baking, cooking, carpet making. Overnight at the guest house.

Day 11: Hayat Village

After breakfast we walk through mount Dyushox (H=900) which is followed by slight
ascent in good trail toward to peak (H=1850) where opens wonderful panorama of the highest point of Nurata ridge- Hayat-Boshi(H=2165) and KyzilKum desert with Aydarkyul. After rest and photographing we go down to Ukum village. Return to guest house. Dinner. Overnight at the guest house.

Day 12: Guest house- Tashkent)

 After breakfast on a good path we start our hiking to Petrographs9=(Stone carvings VIII c.y). It takes about 3 hours. On the way you can discover traditional simple village houses and meet with friendly people. After rest we return to the guest house. Lunch. Departure to Tashkent (D=350km; T=4 h ;)

Day 13: (Tashkent- ……)

 

Breakfast. Tashkent city tour. Free time for shopping. Departure to the airport. End of tour .
