Travel itinerary: Tashkent – Urgench - Khiva – Bukhara – Nurota - Aydar Lake – Samarkand – Tashkent

Description: Indulge yourself with the mixture of history and adventure, the hightlights of your destinations that include expolring the most visited historic parts of the cities with night stay in Nomadic Yurt and watching the sunset in the Kyzyl-Kumdesert.

Day 1: Tashkent

Arrival in Tashkent and city glimpse tour. Transfer and check-in to hotel.

Day 2: Tashkent - Urgench - Khiva

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to local airport to get flight to Urgench 1h 30m (gateway to Khiva) and transfer to Khiva 30mins. Arrival in Khiva (09:35) and start the full day city tour in Itchan-kala (inner town) and Lunch during the visits.  Overnight in Khiva

Day 3: Khiva-Bukhara

Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Bukhara via the Kyzyl-kum desert (450 km, 7 hrs). Some stops are planned to get photos.  Arrive in Bukhara, check-in, free time. Overnight in Bukhara.

Day 4: Bukhara

Breakfast at the hotel.  Old city tour: Samanids mausoleum, Chashmayi Ayyub, Bolo Houz Mosque, Ark Palace,  Complex of Kalon, Ulugh Beg and Abdulaziz khan Madrasah, Calligraphy & Miniatures Workshop, Lyabi Khauz Complex, Trade domes of Bukhara.Overnight in Bukhara.

Day 5: Bukhara-Aydar lake (Yurt Camp)

Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Aydar Lake yurt camp, on the way stop in Gijduvan to visit Abdullah Narzullaev’s pottery masters workshop and museum who has been practicing for 6 generation. Lunch in Nurota town. Arrival in Kyzyl-Kum Yurt Camp and overnight.

Day 6: Yurts- Samarkand

Breakfast at the Yurts. Transfer to Samarkand. On the way visit Sarmish-say petroglyphs art gallery in the mountain which is from  Bronze Age. Arrival in Samarkand. Transfer to the hotel.  Option of city tour that includes: Gur Emir Mausoleum and Registan Square Overnight in Samarkand

Day 7: Samarkand

Breakfast at the hotel.  Continuation of the city tour: Bibi Khanum, Siab Bazaar mosque, followed by Shakhi-Zinda Necropolis  and Observatory of Ulugh Beg, Museum Afrosiyob. Samarkand Silk Paper Workshop, Silk Factory. Overnight in Samarkand.

Day 8: Samarkand- Tashkent

Breakfast at the hotel.  Transfer to Tashkent by speed train Afrosiyob. On your arrival in Tashkent (09:45) start city tour: Khast Imam Complex, Chorsu Bazaar, Independence Square and Museum of Applied Arts with option of walking in the Broadway street.

Day 9: Tashkent

After breakfast, depending on your time of departure, free time and transfer to Tashkent International Airtport.

End of tour.
