Hiking to Ala-Archa national park
If You are in Bishkek and looking for what to do, Ala-Archa national park is an ideal place to visit regardless if You are a photographer, a hiker or if you are in the country for a business trip. This program is available from April to end of November since it will be a bit harder to hike while there is snow for safety reasons.
The price of 50$ USD includes transfer (round trip) from your hotel/guest house to the Ala-Archa national park and a guide.
40 kilometers south of Bishkek, Ala-Archa national park is situated on the Kyrgyz Ala-Too mountain range that towers over Bishkek City horizon and consists of over 10 500 hectares of protected land.
The drive to the park stops at the parking lot in front of a former alpinist base camp turned into a hotel, at the altitude of 2100 m.a.s.l.
From here, AlaArcha valley opens up with the thick fir trees along the banks and the glacier-fed river noisily making its way down to the city. And the glaciers and mountain peaks surround the area.
Hiking to the waterfall is of medium difficulty and can be done in 4 hours, depending on the walking pace of the travelers.
For a confirmed booking, a deposit of (10%) is required. Deposit is paid by credit card (secure payment via Stripe, no credit card fees). The remaining balance can be paid in cash upon start of the trip - unless Host & Traveler agree on different payment methods.
Cancellations can be made free of charge up to 30 days prior to the beginning of the booked service. The deposit (10%) is only refundable if the booking is canceled at least 30 days in advance.
