Independent Guide to Kyrgyzstan with a 4x4 Buhanka
Hi my name is Alex and I have been working here in Kyrgyzstan as a guide / tour leader since 2014 and there is still some places that I have not explored myself. I'm interested in exploring the most remote places here in Kyrgyzstan. If you are looking to reach the edges of the map, find the last tea house at end of the road, looking to discover new roads join me.
When I guide an expedition, I’m set up well. All of my vans are 4x4 and it’s possible to have 4 to 5 other travelers in my van. The expedition vans have roof racks and are ready for the wild roads of Kyrgyzstan. In addition, I do my best to make sure my guests are ready for the rough roads of Kyrgyzstan with the pre-trip planning and overall planning of the trip.
I charge a flat rate per day. My flat rate is 150 dollars a day and we can do a 6-10 day tour that fits your wishes.
Price Per day:
2 people = 150 dollars total or 75 dollars a person per day
3 people = 150 dollars total or 50 dollars a person per day
4 people = 150 dollars total or 37.5 dollars a person per day
5 people = 150 dollars total or 24 dollars a person per day
Bishkek City, Talas City, Chanch, Sary-Chelek, Arslanbob, Toktogul Lake, Bishkek
The tour can last from 6 to 10 days.
We would start in Bishkek, to Talas City, to Manas Peak, drive on the wild west of Kyrgyzstan on dirt roads to Sary-Chelek Lake, to Arslanbob, then off road to Toktogul Lake through the backroads (big mountain passes), and then back to Bishkek.
The idea of this tour is camping every night in the wild under the stars. We will cook every meal together and share with shepherds that we camp with. No one is offering this tour and I'm very interested in discovering the west of Kyrgyzstan! I want to discover new alpine lakes and snowy mountain passes! This is not a fancy tour with nice guesthouse, or western cafes this is the wild wild west of Kyrgyzstan. Kyrg your enthusiasm!
Bishkek City, Tosor, Kara-Say, Yshtyk, Ak-Shyirak, Kol Suu via Pik Dankova area, At-Bashy, Kochkor, Bishkek
If you’re looking to see wildlife and meet real nomad’s in the high mountains of Kyrgyzstan this is the right tour for you. The area of Ak-Shyirak or Kara-Say is a wild mountain range that needs to be discovered. After living in Karakol for a year and a half I have always wanted to explore these wild mountains in my back yard. If you come with me you will be able to see countless wildlife and countless glaciers near and fair. This trip is not for the light-hearted travel. It’s necessary to travel with 2 strong 4x4’s to complete this trip. In addition, there is no guarantee that it’s possible to complete this full tour due to weather, rock fall, or the local factors that complicate the border zones here in Kyrgyzstan. I can promise you that you will experiences a once in a life time trip. You will be one of few travelers that have ever been to this area and passed though these roads.
There are countless wild places here in Kyrgyzstan and I would be happy to help you discover the right spots for your wishes.
