Itinerary: Bishkek – Burana- Tcholpon Ata – Issyk-Kul – Belzhan camp- Karakol - Jeti-Oguz – Ak-Suu – Skazka – Bokonbaeva – Bishkek.
Day 1- Arrival at Manas International Airport
We will meet you at the Airport early in the morning.
Our driver will pick-up you and drive you to your hotel in Bishkek (+/- 45 minutes). After you rest, our guide will pick you up.
Day 2- Sightseeing in Bishkek
After your breakfast our guide will pick you up from your hotel.
The sightseeing starts by the square of the victory and following with the Kyrgyz Theater of ballet and opera, the museum Gapar Aitiev of Fine arts, the oak trees park of Bishkek, the museum Mikhail Frunze, the open air art gallery, the Ala-too square, the Tchinguiz Aïtmatov monument, the old square, the in monument, the Panfilov Park, the White house, the revolution monument, the philharmonic hall, the Manas monument and last but not least the Osh Bazar.

Day 3 – Burana minaret – Tcholpon Ata
After your breakfast, we will pick up you at the hotel and drive you to Burana minaret. The site is the ruins of the old city of Balasagun (11th century) founded by the Karakhanids and passed under the control of the Mongols during the invasions. The minaret is build-up with stones and decorated with Asian style figures. The site remains with only the minaret, the Balbal, the petroglyphs, the museum, the ruins of an old fortification and three mausoleums. A spiral staircase will allow you to access the roof of the minaret and to discover the exceptional panorama.
Transfer to Tcholpon-Ata and step by the gorges of Boom bounding the region of Chuy and Issyk-Kul. The gorges are crossed by both the railway and the highway leading from the capital to the pearl of Kyrgyzstan: the Issyk-Kul Lake. At the entrance of the gorges remaining an old fresh water source where we will step for a while to enjoy the fresh water.
Arrival to Tcholpon-Ata in the late afternoon or beginning evening. We will drive you at your guesthouse where you will rest to start a new discovery journey on the next day.
Day 4–5 –Tcholpon-Ata – Lake Issyk-Kul
Transfer from your guesthouse to the Issyk-Kul shore. The lake is about 182 km long and 60 km width, or average 6200 km² (about 10 times the Léman Lake). It’s the second largest mountain lake in the world after the Titicaca Lake (on the Andes Mountains) and located at 1600 meters above sea level but never freeze even during hard winters.
In summer, the temperature of the water is up to 20°C and you will enjoy tempered bath in a wonderful panorama. Indeed, the lake is surrounded by snow mountain peaks of the Tien Shan. The lake looks like an Oasis in the heart of a rude mountainous environment.
Day 6 - Karakol City
After your breakfast, drive to Karakol City. Arrival at the city and sightseeing. Karakol is the crossroads of several civilizations, stories, languages, traditions, cuisine and nature. A dozen different ethnicities are contributing to the uniqueness beauty of the city. Kyrgyz, Tatar, Russian, Dungan, Uighur, Kalmyk, Uzbek and many others. Near to the city, the Issyk-Kul Lake and the Tien-Shan rank mountains turn the city into an exceptional place in all Kyrgyzstan. It will be the opportunity to discover different people, to enjoy the outdoor walks, the local bazars and to explore deeply the city.
After the sightseeing, we will drive you to the local home of Kyrgyz family to have a dinner in traditional way.
Day 7 – Jeti-Oguz
After your breakfast, departure for Jeti-Oguz (the seven bulls) located at 30 km from the city of Karakol. On the way your guide will explain you the reason of this name. In front of the cliffs there are flat mountain slopes, thickly overgrown with grass and pine trees. Especially romantic look has the rock
"Broken Heart” located at the entrance to the gorge. Jeti-Oguz is also famous for its hot springs with water enriched with Radeon and hydrogen sulfite. In the place they hit out of the ground, at the altitude of 2200 m, there is a resort, which one you will see. The water in springs is useful for the treatment of rheumatism, gastric and nervous diseases.
After walking around we will reach the pan of Kok-Dzhayyk with wonderful views of the gorge, and roaring waterfalls.
Day 8 – Ak-Suu gorge
9 kilometers from the city of Karakol is the settlement the village of Teploklyuchenka. Above it, in 3 kilometers is the eponymous reserve, beyond which the Ak-Suu gorge begins .
At the bottom of the gorge, which is 30-40m wide, the Ak-Suu River flows. The bottom is strewn with gray and reddish granites: the rapid flow of the river beats against these stones and foam forms, hence the name of the river «( Ak-Suu - « »White River .)»The slopes of the gorge reach 300m in height .
A few kilometers from the reserve there is a resort Aksu, where there is a sanatorium and about 30 thermal radon springs. Where you will have hot bath/thermal water .
It is a cute and green place where locals go for hot baths. This trip shouldn’t’ take a whole day. It may take about 3-4 hours. After trip we will return to Karakol. Overnight in Karakol.
Hiking and mountain forest walks
Day 9 – Karakol - Skazka (Fairy Tale) Canyon – Bokonbaeva
At the morning after breakfast we will move to Skazka Canyon. On the southern shore of Lake Issyk-Kul, about 4 km from the village of Tosor there is an unusual place - Skazka (Fairy Tale) Canyon .
The canyon was named due to its bizarre rocky landscape, which for many years has been transformed by wind into fabulous sculptures and formations. Some formations in « Skazka »have been named for their similarity to well-known objects. For example, one set of ridges in the canyon is named« The Chinese Wall »due to its similarity to the Great Wall of China. You can also find what appear to be statues of a hippopotamus, snake, dragon, sleeping giant and even whole castles. Because the different rocks have amazing colors, the rocky statues not only have unusual shapes, but also magical colors.
Pick nick lunch. Upon arrival in yurt camp at the shore of Issyk Kul lake. Dinner and overnight at the traditional kyrgyz yurt house.
Day 10 – Bokonbaeva
After breakfast visit yurt maker family and learn how wooden carcass of yurt is made. You will discover the village, the nature and the villager’s lifestyle.
Day 11 – Bishkek
Free day: shopping

Day 12 – Bishkek – Manas Airport
Transfer to Airport for your international flight early
