Kakheti Region Tour
Kakheti is a historical province in eastern Georgia. Kakheti, and especially the Alazani valley, is the biggest wine region of Georgia and is consider the cradle of wine. The legend states that from here the wine spread all over the world. And indeed, the main attraction of that region, besides the old churches and monasteries, are the hundreds of small and large, modern and ancient wineries, partly still run family owned.

-Bodbe Monastery of Saint Nino(4th century), St. Nino was a Cappadocian maiden who converted the Georgian people to Christianity as early as 337 AD.
– Gremi– on a crag overlooking peaceful meadows and a few romantic ruins are the 16th century church and tower of Gremi – all that remains of the once flourishing capital of Kakheti.
– Winery Khareba located in the tunnel carved out of the rock. Originally built for military purposes, today the tunnel is used to store Khareba’s finest wines. Wine tour and wine tasting.
