3 DAY TO SONG KUL LAKE Horse riding

 Route: Bishkek - Kochkor - Charalcha - Kilemche - Jamanechki - Song Kul-BIshkek

Day 1. Bishkek - Kochkor city, 195 km, 2.5-3 hours

This day can be organized in different way by different proposals. The main thing is we should drive to Kochkor city and stay in the guesthouse to be prepared to start the horseback riding for the next day.

Accommodation: guesthouse (twins rooms, Wi-Fi, bathroom is general with shower) 

Meals: Dinner in the one the cafes of Kochkor city (Lunch is NOT included)


Day 2. Kochkor city - Bel Valley (start our horseback riding), 1-1.5 hours by taxi - Charalcha Valley - Kilemche Valley, 4-5 hours of total distance of horseback riding

After breakfast in an hour we will take a taxi to Bel Valley where our mountain guide will be waiting with the horses. Then time of horseback riding will be started.

It takes around 1.5-2 hours from Bel Valley to get to Charalcha Valley where we will have lunch. The passes are going up in zigzag way and on the mouth of the mountains. The lucnch will be in the yurt of a Kyrgyz family. After lunch we will keep riding to Kilemche Valley.

Charalcha Valley

The distance is about 1.5 - 2 hours to Kilemche Valley. 

“Kilemche” translated as “Carpet”, the meadow is like a carpet so green with stunning nature and with the river also called Kilemche. The altitude of Kilemche valley is about 2500 m above sea level. Most of tours pas this valley to Song-Kul lake. We will overnight in the yurt camp.

Day 3. Kilemche Valley - JamanEchki - Final stop in yurt camp, 2.5 - 3.5 hours of horseback riding

After breakfast we will start our way to Jaman-Echki. The first part of our way will be steep. We will ride up to the mountain on the top of which we will have a small break to enjoy the view and let our horses to have a small rest.

Further, the way will be flat and not so difficult. On our way you will see the horizon of Song-Kul lake that looks very amazing. After several hours we will be in Jaman-Echki where lunch in the yurt will be organized. The last way will be very enjoyable, as well. You will ride on the valley that seems everlasting. After coming to the last yurt camp, yuo will have a rest. Dinner and overnight in the yurt camp.

Day 4. Song-Kul - Bishkek, 5-5.5 hours

After breakfast we will go horseriding for a couple hours. After having lunch ee will start our way back to Bishkek.

On our way we will stop to take some photos of stunning views of Kalmak Ashuu and other views that you will see on our way. End of the tour after coming to Bishkek.

What to bring: Rain-coat; Warm hat; Warm jacket; Sweater/fleece; Wind-stopper; Enough t-shirts and with long sleeves; Hat (remember – the sun can be violent) 6.Sun-screen cream; Insect repellent (skin + clothes); Good trekking boots for easy hikes in the mountains; Personal first aid kit (most likely problems: blisters, sunburns, allergy, diarrhoea, sore muscles after hikes. Take painkillers, anti-histaminic, antibiotics of general action, and anything you need for your usual medical conditions); Personal hygiene kit (disinfection gel is highly recommended) + some toilet paper; smaller backpack, except for your normal suitcase; Flash light (torch); 16. Money exchange – if you plan to exchange dollars /евро/ to KGS, we recommend to take the notes of 50, 100 USD without stamps, inscriptions and other any damage, because damaged banknotes are not accepted by banks and exchange offices.

For a confirmed booking, a deposit of (10%) is required. Deposit is paid by credit card (secure payment via Stripe, no credit card fees). The remaining balance can be paid in cash upon start of the trip - unless Host & Traveler agree on different payment methods.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations can be made free of charge up to 30 days prior to the beginning of the booked service. The deposit (10%) is only refundable if the booking is canceled at least 30 days in advance.
