Our trip with Mirlan was nothing short of amazing. The trip was well-planned and everything went smoothly. We are very grateful for Mirlan and his warm hospitality. We had a 5D road trip covering Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan customized to our preferences. It was a truly authentic experience as we got to stay with local families and are heartened by the warm greetings of the host families. We enjoyed interacting with locals along the journey. We also managed to do several activities like horse riding, dumpling making, cow milking, and yurt stays - all as authentic and non-commercial experiences. Our trip was very memorable and we are sure that we will keep in touch with Mirlan and the people we have met along the way! We highly recommend Mirlan as a guide for anyone looking for authentic, off the beaten track experiences, and those looking to get a glimpse of local cultures in Kazakhstan/Kyrgyzstan.

Mirlanbek is a perfect guide for Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan combo trip.

We traveled with him four days with a driver. He picked us up at Almaty airport. During the first day we visited Big Almaty Lake and had a nice picnic on mountains. After that he showed us Almaty city and Kok Tobe panorama hill. In the evening we had a wonderful dinner in a local restaurant. There we met also Mirlanbek's charming wife. Next day we visited Charyn Canyon and Kayindy Lake (that one with Russian jeep UAZ). We stayed in Saty village. Next day we drove to

Kegen border and arrived Kyrgyzstan. We stopped after the border to have a picnic with wonderful views. Then we visited Karakol town and had a homestay at local Kyrgyz family house at the beginning of Altyn Arshan gorge. There was also possible to take a bath in hot thermal water pools near the family house. During last day we visited Djeti Oguz Gorge, Fairy Tale Canyon and had a picnic on the beach of Issyk Kul Lake.

Mirlanbek had organised everything for us.

We recommend him to everyone, who like to visit Central Asia.

Mirlanbek organized my 4-day 3-night Lake Ala-Kul and Altyn Arashan trek in Kyrgyzstan. He was very responsive during the planning phase - answered all questions promptly (even those not related to the trek) and that went a long way in planning my entire vacation. All equipment and a very friendly English-speaking guide was arranged for the trek. I met him a few times before and after the trek and he came across as a genuinely helpful personality. I would highly recommend Mirlanbek for any assistance with trip planning in Kyrgyzstan.

Overall the trip went well although there were some things that could have been better. At times communication in English was difficult with Mirlanbek, leading to some misunderstandings. Food purchases were a little rushed, the evening before the tramp after the long drive from Bishkek. We bought food on Mirlanbek's recommendation and ended up with far too much food, which added unnecessary weight for the young porters. On the trail everything went well. Compliments to our guide, who was a real delight. He looked after us very well. The porters also did a great job. Thanks so much.

We also had a transport problem at the end of the tramp. We stayed an extra night at the hot springs without the guide and porters. The arrangement was to meet at the end of the track at 12 noon. The arrangements were agreed a number of times. We were there at 12 noon, but there was no car to pick us up. We waited for an hour and eventually arranged our own trip back to Karakol. Various messages came back as to where the driver was and when, that didn't stack up.

The tramp was good and the equipment ok. The first campsite was full of tampers and the was somewhat unpleasantly dirty with toilet paper and piles everywhere. At the lake as well was evidence of poor toileting. The campsite after the pass was clean with few tampers staying. Staying at the hot springs was excellent. We walked up a side valley for the day and we were the only people there. Recommended.

Mirlanbek was available at all time trying to recommend the best things to do in our trip, before, during and after. He adjusted his proposal to fit our needs. We could visit Kolsai lake 1, charyn canyon and kaindy lake in one day. It was a long day but we could enjoy every place, we had enough time to enjoy in every attraction. I would totally recommend to organize your trip in Kazakhstan with him!

Mirlan is an excellent guide and very well organized and informative. He knows a great deal about his country and neighboring areas. I booked transportation with him from Almaty to Karakol in Kyrgyzstan, which included Charyn Canyon and the Kegen border crossing and Karkara valley. Everything went according to schedule and the trip and his company were a delight.

Mirlan and his team are all very lovely! We booked quite last minute, but Mirlan managed to organise a great tour for us in the south of Kazakhstan and up to Bishkek. Our driver Samat and guide Asel provided an awesome tour in the north of Kyrgyzstan! They were very attentive and hospitable and all the homestays we stayed at were great as well. Seeing other tours pass by similar spots we really enjoyed the advantage of not having to stick to a tight schedule, but deciding for ourselves where we wanted to stay longer or even where we just wanted to stop for a quick picture.

Thanks for everything one more time! If we ever pass by Kyrgyzstan again, we will definitely book another tour with Mirlan!

Mirlanbek was great at getting back to messages regarding the tour. Though there was a slight miscommunication about drivers and guide for our tour, he managed to make arrangements for us to have one. Thank you again for making our stay in Kazakhstan a nice and memorable one!

Mirlanbek was a great organizer for our one week tour in southern Kazachstan and Kyrgystan. He implemented all our wishes which was great but led to a bit overloaded programm. We just underestimated the travel times between sights. Nonetheless we had an amazing time and felt very well cared for by our Kazach driver and our Kyrgyz guide. We can warmly recommend Mirlanbek as a organizer and guide.

Thanks again Mirlanbek for your effort to make this trip an amazing experience.

Claude about listing 8 days Almaty to Osh 10 months ago.

I had an amazing tour with Mirlanbek and his driver starting and ending in Almaty with stops in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. Mirlan kept in touch well from when I booked until I arrived. They picked me up from the hotel and we were on our way! All of the guesthouses were clean and comfortable with good food and friendly hosts. Mirlan was very flexible and always trying to make my journey a great experience. The hiking and sights were stunning and I hope to come back for longer next time. He was very good about suggesting what was safe to eat and not. He bought a lot of local fresh fruits which were delicious! It was also so interesting to chat with Mirlan about life in the two countries and the history. I highly recommend him and will be suggesting to all of my friends that they should visit! Thank you so much Mirlan and Janat!!
