Vehicle: Compact car. Up to 3 people can be seated

Route: UB-Chinggis Khaan Statue Complex (54km)-Turtle Rock (40km)-Ariyapala Temple (1km)-UB (60km).

Khustai National Park lies 100km southwest of Ulaanbaatar, and was established in 1993 to reintroduce Mongolia’s wild Takhi (Przewalski) horses. These wild horses which were unique to Mongolia became extinctin 1960s. In the early 1990s these beautiful creatures have been reintroduced from Western zoos and they have taken well to their freedom. Best time to see them is during their early morning and evening watering time.
