Come experience some of the most beautiful countryside in the world in the company of some of the most experienced, colourful, and friendly guides around and ... 20% of the tariff from your ride goes to support The Children of the Peak Sanctuary, a kindergarten for 128 children who survive by scavenging at the garbage dump in Mongolia and the Soaring Crane Summer Camp for their older siblings. See below for details on how you can volunteer at Soaring Crane Summer Camp and help even more!
Safety is our first concern and, as such, all trekkers are provided with a helmet, break away stirrups, half chaps and matched with a mount whose temperament matches their ability. We also carry a satellite phone with us into the wilderness for use in case of an emergency and, whenever possible, a car within easy riding distance. Mongolian horses are quite forward moving and energetic, so for novice riders a guide will happily lead you while master the skills necessary to go off lead. Please note that there is a weight limit of 100 kgs. for our adventure rides.
Each long ride has a native English speaker along as an interpreter and cultural liaison as well so you can rest assured that the language barrier will not be a problem and you can get the most out of your Mongolian experience.
